BONTE - At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, December 3, 2001. Marcel H. Bonte of R.R.#2, Aylmer in his 84th year. Beloved wife of Antoinette (DeBacker) Bonte. Dear father of Linda Tremblett and husband John of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Jill Cunha and husband John, Nicole Peters and husband Erny and John Tremblett and great grandfather to Anthony. He will be sadly missed by his sister Agnes Harper, brother in-law Jim Harper, niece and goddaughter Michelle Johns and husband Barry, mother-in-law Simonne DeBacker, brother-in-law Paul Roovers and wife Chris and several nieces and nephews. Born in Tourcoing, France on October 31, 1918 son of the late Archille and Madeleine (Vandewaele) Bonte. A retired tobacco farmer, Marcel was a resident of R.R.#2, Aylmer for many years. AARTS - Frank of Timmins Ontario, on Wednesday, December 5th, 2001. Born March 12th, 1939 in Holland and came to Canada in 1951. Dearly loved son of Mary Aarts and the late John Aarts (1985). Beloved husband of Anna (Fontana) Aarts and loved father of David at home. Brother of Anne, Tony, Bill, Albert, Paul, Jerry, John, Mary Ann & Ron. Survived by a number of nieces and nephews and a number of aunts and cousins in Holland, Australia, New Zealand and Ontario. Resting at Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, 150 Balsam St., South, Timmins. A Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10th, 2001 from Sacred Heart Church. Interment to follow. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Longfield) Row and loving father of Colleen Loucks and husband Mike of New York, Arnold Row and friend Nancy Bradt of Aylmer, Ann Lagrandeur and husband Gus of Aylmer and Marilyn Weber and husband John of Belmont. Dearly missed by grandchildren Richard Moore, Ginelle, Richelle and Genna-lynne Row, Dawn Bradt, Chelsea and Trent Lagrandeur, Victoria and Quinn Weber. Also survived by his mother Gretta (Clement) Row of Dorchester, brother Karl Row and wife Lynn, sister Leola Sadler and husband Bob and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Harold Row (1996) and brother Ivan Row (1999). Born in Avon, Ontario on April 20, 1939, Howard was a lifelong resident of South Dorchester Township and was a partner in Harold Row and Sons Ltd., Farm Equipment Business. For the past seven years he worked for Earl MacDonald and Son Transport, Dutton. He enjoyed driving his teams of Belgian Horses and competed in many county plowing matches. Friends may call at the H. BROADBENT - John of St. Thomas, on Thursday, December 6, 2001, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 64th year. Beloved husband of June (Clegg) Broadbent and dearly loved father of Melissa and her husband Craig Minor or Toronto and Maxine Broadbent of Toronto. Loved grandfather of Shelby and Sarah. Dear brother of Tom and his wife Frances Broadbent of Greenville South Carolina and Anne and her husband Phil Whiteman of England. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. John was born in Manchester, England and was the son of the late Ab and Mary (Hilton) Broadbent. He came to Canada in 1973. He owned Intertec Graphics and was a member of St. Joseph s Catholic Church, Port Stanley. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels Church, St. Thomas on Monday at 10:00 a.m. No visitation prior to the service.
