Peacefully, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Sunday, July 4, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Marion Charlotte Saunderson of Napanee at age 82. Pre-deceased by her parents Bernard Miller and Elizabeth Miller (Tattrie), brother Curtis Miller and step-son Brian Saunderson. Dear mother of Keith Miller (Lee) of Bowmanville; Elinor Mazzer of St. Catherines; Archie Langille (Ruth) of Oshawa; Janice Hodgkinson (Alan) of Surrey B.C; Glenda Murphy (Brian) of Napanee; Jessie Hayward (Jim) of Washington, USA; Caralee Stiles of Surrey B.C; David Stiles of Napanee and chosen daughter Candy Peterson of Napanee. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Janice, Tracie, Heather, Jamie, Ryan, Laurel, Chloe, Jake, Kristin, Kimmi, Alishia, Michael, Dahlia, Curtis, Joey, James, Nick and Sara. Great-grandmother of Jemelie, Jorianna, Chadra, Michelle, Jamie, Haley, Xander, Jordan, Bryan and Doyle. Sister of Irene McKinnon (Jim); Thelma Smith (Bill) and Lloyd Miller (Nancy). Benn, Lillian
passed away suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the age of 92 years, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Harry Benn. Cherished mother of Michael Benn (Karen) of Brockville. Loving Grandmother of Rick (Sonya) of Mississauga; Kevin of Whitby; Kelly (Chris) of Brockville and Bob (Jenn) of Barrie. Great Grandmother of Andrew, Ryan, Dylan, Kirsten and Ella. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West Napanee (613-354-3341) on Monday, July 5 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Riverside cemetery , Napanee. Gray, Lyndon Henry
22 March 1916 30 June 2010
A long-time and respected resident of Napanee, well-known as the founder of Gray s IDA Drugstore. A gentle and generous man and a steadfast friend to many. Blessed of a great sense of humour and a healthy streak of Welsh stubbornness. Died peacefully in the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital with niece Elva at his side. Predeceased by his wife Elda (Daverne) in 1991. Survived by his niece and ward Elva (Storms) and her husband Joe Aitchison of Belleville and by his brother Elwyn (Red) and nephew Morgan Bing Gray and his wife Lee of Edmonton. Lyn was uncle to Elda s siblings and children, to Elva s childhood friends and to Red s, and Elva and Joe s sons and grandchildren, and will be missed by them all. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West Napanee (613-354-3341) on Saturday, July 3 from 10:00 a.m., followed by Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Alban s cemetery , Adolphustown. Amey, Vernon George
Peacefully passed away at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, June 24, 2010, in his 88th year. Loving husband of Eva Amey (Murphy) and dear father of David (Wanda) and Vernon Jr. (Linda) of Napanee. Cherished grandfather of Aaron; Nathan (Natasha); Emily Kemp (Mark) and Melissa Deacon (Mike) of Napanee. Great-grandfather of Ty and Dylan Kemp. Predeceased by his parents Curtis and Annie Amey and siblings Lorne, Doug, Keith, Mona, Kathleen and Audrey. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Riverview cemetery. Brown, Margaret (Helen)
passed away peacefully in her 85th year, on June 11, 2010 at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee. Helen Brown was a longtime Newburgh resident and member of the Eastern Star. Beloved wife of the late Reg Brown and dear mother of Linda Amey (Vern); Lu Ann Remington (Larry) and Jim Brown (Su) of Napanee and Gord Brown (Karen) of Manotick. Cherished grandmother of Ryan Remington (Jennifer); Emily Kemp (Mark); Lee Ann Beckwith (Josh); Melissa Deacon (Mike); Matthew Brown (Heather); Andrea Remington (Drew); Jennifer Brown; and Anna; Graeme; Evan and Luc Brown. Great-grandmother of 6. Sister of the late Gord Dunn. With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Donna Ruth Gunby (nee Simpson) of Bath, formerly of Carlisle Ontario, in the Palliative Care Unit at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital, Napanee, on Monday, May 31, 2010. Beloved wife of Ross for 59 plus years and dear mother of Nancy (Peter) Wilkie of Bath, ON, and Hal (Nicole) Gunby of Whistler, BC. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Sarah), John, Thomas, Kiana and Kekoa. Great Grandmother of Peyton. Others saddened by Donna's passing include many Square and Round Dancers and friends in Florida where Donna and Ross spent many winters. Special thanks to everyone at the KGH Cancer Centre, our home care nurses from St. Elizabeth Health Care, our palliative care nurses at L&A Hospital and our friends at Hospice L&A for their compassionate care and kindness. Cremation is taking place. A memorial service will be held at the Bath United Church, Thursday, June 3rd at 2:00 PM. In the care of WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, Napanee (613-354-3341).
