Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital on Monday, May 17, 2010. Ralph Leslie Mellow of Napanee at age 86. Beloved husband of the late Mary Mellow (Risk). Step-father of Michael Lessard (Dianne) of Niagara Falls; Peg Steinman (Tom) of Cayuga; Carol Manion (Brian) and Fran Derochie (Steve) of Napanee. Best friend of Dorothy Baker. Grandfather of Todd Steinman (Katrina) of Cayuga; Peter Steinman (Martina Kusiak) of Hamilton; Annie and Tory Manion of Napanee and Rob and Benny Derochie formerly of Napanee. Brother of Frances Gibson (late Glen) of Brighton and uncle of Marilyn Rawding (Steve) and David Gibson (Connie Hawkins). Brother-in-law of Connie Risk (late William) of Manotick. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at the Salvation Army Community Church, 82 Richard Street, Napanee on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Riverview cemetery. CRABTREE, Maggie
Peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, Napanee, on May 4, 2010. Margaret Christine Crabtree of Bath at age 74. Beloved husband of Ken Crabtree and dear mother of Richard (Stephanie) of Newmarket, and David (Jeanette) of Lively, Ontario. Grandmother of Thomas and Kimberly; Nicky and Liam. In keeping with Margaret s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. In the care of WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, Napanee (613-354-3341). Phillips, Shirley May
At the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, May 3, 2010, Shirley May Phillips (nee Scott) of Croydon in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Dave Phillips and dear mother of Vicky Phillips-Dunn (Brad Dunn) of Croydon. Sister of Dawn Scott (late Vern); Heather Foulger (late Jack); Limery Scott (Val); William Scott (Bonnie), all of Napanee; Barb Schnarr (Bruce) of Odessa; and Rosemary Belanger (late Daryl) of Deseronto. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and special girl Jessica Briceland. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West Napanee (613-354-3341) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday, May 7 at 11 a.m. Interment Reidville cemetery. Beloved husband of Irene Murphy (Cassidy) and dear father of Peter (Anne) of Kingston; Angie Wylie (John) of Brockville; Danny (Elizabeth) of Kingston; Gordie (Susan) of Enterprise; Cheryl Furlong (Jim Spinks) of Napanee; Jamie (Rose) of Enterprise and Randy (Kim) of Odessa. Loving grand-dad to 23 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Frank Murphy (Eileen) of Kingston; Mary Rush (late Tim) of Oshawa; Gerald Murphy (Benita) of Napanee; Anna Shane (Murray) of Rideau Ferry; Margie Murphy of Oshawa; Loretta Bartsch (Don) of Oshawa and predeceased by his brothers Joe (Mary of Napanee) and Vince (Evelyn of Napanee). Brother-in-law to Mike & Jean Finn of Kingston, Billie Cassidy (late Howard) of Ancaster, late Gerald & Doreen Cassidy. Don will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Annunciation, Enterprise on Thursday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Anthony s Parish cemetery , Centreville at a later date. Weese, Jack
At the Kingston General Hospital, on Saturday, April 3, 2010 with his loving family by his side. John William Weese of Napanee at age 72. Beloved husband of Barbara Weese (nee Milligan). Dear father of Cindy Weatherhead and Steven Weese (Jennifer) of Napanee and Bill Weese of Deseronto. Grandfather of Adam and Tori Weatherhead; Kyle, Amber and Nikki Weese; Mitchell, Madison and Katie Weese. Son of Edna Weese (Sexsmith) of Melrose and the late Lorne Weese. Brother of Shirley Fountain (Elgin) of Toronto and fondly remembered by his good friend John Fair. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Melrose cemetery. TAYLOR, Margaret Bernice (nee Schell)
Feb. 8, 1916 Sept. 8, 2010
passed away peacefully, after an exceptionally long and healthy life, in her 95th year after a very brief challenge with cancer. Daughter of the late Minnie (Mary) Leach and Louis D. Schell. Predeceased by her beloved husband "Denny", Dennis Adrian Taylor, in 1962 and her brother Donald L. Schell in 1997. Survived by her children, Helen McLean (Edmonton); Dennis Taylor (Toronto); and Bernice (Bill) Bottan (Whitby). Left to have fond and fun memories of their Nanny are grandchildren Kim, Heather, David and Janet. Great Grandchildren are Alex, Katie, Daniel, Sophia, Spiro and Elias. Mom also bids farewell to her cottage at Beaver Lake, where she and extended family and countless friends have spent 48 years having a ball! A special thanks to the most caring staff at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital and Kingston General Hospital (Kidd). Their tender care and guidance for Mom was greatly appreciated. Mom, an organ donor, would be thrilled to know that she was able to donate, even at her age! At Mom's request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. In the care of WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, Napanee (613-354-3341). Interment of her ashes at Pine Hills cemetery , Toronto and Heise Hill cemetery , Gormley.

Turnbull, Donald
Suddenly at home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Donald Earle Turnbull of Napanee at age 66. Beloved husband of Karen Turnbull (Pettit). Dear father of Douglas (Jan) of Kingston; Christopher (Christine) of Barrie; Jason (Erika) of Napanee and Erick of Kingston. Loving grandfather to Brianna, Corinn, Brandon, Alyssa and Jacob. Brother of Glenn (Carol) of Napanee; Marg Walker (Bob) of Richmond, Jim (Marg) of Napanee, Mary Dillon (David) of London and the late David Turnbull. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on September 2, 2010 at age 79. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Leona (Prudom). Dear father of Linda French (Alan) of Napanee; David of Fort McMurray, Alberta; Susan Wagner (Don) of Napanee; and Laurie Pitre (Gerry) of Hanmer. Predeceased by his son Steve. Survived by nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Doug Harris (Rieta) of Goderich; his sister Donna Burden (Staley) of Petrolia; and his sister-in-law Ruth Harris (the late Fred) of Camlachie. Predeceased by his parents Hubert and Myrtle and his brothers Carmen, Gord and Fred. McBRYDE, Nina Annetta
passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, Napanee, on Monday, August 30, 2010, in her 81st year. She is predeceased by her husband, Earle McBryde, in 2008. Loving mother of Earline, Nancy (Ron), Karen (Rob) and step-son Clifton (Suzanne). Cherished Nana of Jacqui Doyle of Texas; Kayla and Brittany Berry; and Tom and Tim McBryde, all of Napanee. Clapp, Robert Stephen
It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Clapp announce his passing in the early hours of August 23, 2010 in his 60th year. Retired OPP (2001), proud employee of Tri-Board Transportation, passionate hunter and fisherman though he excelled at neither, consummate organizer of many walleye tournaments and Olympic volunteer. Son of Margaret (West Lake) and the late Murray Clapp. Husband of Anne (Pearce), very proud father of Matthew (Amy Burtch), Ben (Mistene), James and Jane and proud Grandpa Clapp to Mara and Claire. Brother to Mike, Maureen, David, Sheila, Jean, Joan, Laura (deceased), Peter, Paul, Murray, Amanda and Tim. Missed by mother-in-law Marjorie Pearce (Napanee). The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Cherry Valley cemetery at a later date. Szego, Wendy Jeanne
At 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, surrounded by her loving sons, husband and mother- Wendy passed away comfortably in her sleep after a tragic set of complications due to breast cancer. Much love was exchanged during the ordeal, for ourselves, her friends and family. She knew how much you all cared for her, and we greatly appreciate everything you ve done to support her. Thank you so much. Wendy will live on through her three sons, Adam, Bruce and Mark; her husband Gary; her siblings Ginny, Nancy, Phillip, Tim and David; and her mother, Marion Charron. In keeping with Wendy s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Saturday, August 28 from 1:00 p.m., followed by Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
