Wiles, Steve

Date of Death: August 25th 2003
WILES, Steve - suddenly at Orillia on Sunday, August 25, 2003. Steve Wiles, age 41 years, of Orillia, beloved husband and best friend of Sandy (nee, Harrigan) Dearly loved father of, Jason, Luke, Holly, Caleb, and Tamara, all at home, and Megan predeceased. Loving son of Anne and the late Ray Wiles of Severn Twsp. Dear brother of, Gordon and wife Ash, Gregory and wife Whitney, Elizabeth, and Carolin, all of Orillia, and David predeceased. Steve will also be missed his dog Gizmo, and will be lovingly remembered by the Harrigan families.
The late Mr. Steve Wiles will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia, for Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 29th, at 10 AM. Interment St. Michael's cemetery , Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated.

WHALEN, John Joseph - Peacefully at the Woods Park Care Centre, Barrie, on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2003, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his wife Viola (1998). Loving father of Brenda Ferguson and her husband Bob of Mississauga, Bonnie Whalen and her husband Helmut Von Lonski of London, Daryl Whalen of Fort McMurray, and Kelvin Whalen and his wife Judy of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Karen Ferguson, Ryan Whalen, and Brett Whalen. Dear brother of Marg Ford, Lucy Kennedy, Mary Ellen Corcoran, and Mike Whalen. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Barrie, on Saturday, April 5th, at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s cemetery , Barrie. Gerald Wescott, of Udney, beloved husband of the late Mollie (nee, Davis) (2002). Loving father of, Jim (Yvonne) and Doug, all of Brechin, Beryl (Gary) Eller of St. Catharines, Donald (Cathy) of Marchmont, Louise (Murray) Buchan of Woodstock, Yvonne (Ron) Pike of Orillia, Geraldine (Jan) Toebes of Uptergrove, Sylvia (Kevin) Tigwell of Perkinsfield, and David predeceased. Father-in-law of Linda Westcott of Orillia. Dear friend of John Appleby of Brechin. Grandfather of 14 and 1 great grandchild. Brother of Grace (Murray) Rutledge, Margaret "Peggy" Graham, and Donalda Westcott, all of Agincourt, Vyse "Bud" (Muriel) of Gamebridge and William "Bill" (Joan) of Beaverton. The late Mr. Gerald Westcott will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West S. N., Orillia, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday, and at the Gamebridge Presbyterian Church, Gamebridge, Ont. on Friday, July 18th from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM. Interment at Gamebridge Presbyterian Church cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Arthritis Society would be sincerely appreciated.

WELSH, RALPH LEON Suddenly with his family by his side on Sunday June 22, 2003 at the West Haldimand General Hospital Hagerville in his 73rd year. Survived by the love of his life Patricia, wife of 48 years. Son of the late Leon Welsh and Edna Anderson. Loving father of Robin (Randy), Pam (Kevin), and Rebecca (Jason). Always will be remembered by his two special girls who he loved dearly granddaughters Barbara (Fred), and Ashley (Ryan) and the two baby girls who put a sparkle back in his eye granddaughters Victoria and Julia. Brother of the late Claude and Dorothy. Proud uncle to the sons he never had Craig (Cheri), Doug (Sue), and niece Kathy (Victor). Also survived by great nephews Scott, Ian, Jeff, Steven, and great nieces Mandi, Renee, Victoria, and one great great nephew Thomas. Brother-In-Law of Ron (Vivian) and Don O’Rielly. A Memorial Service will be held at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd. Hagersville on Thursday June 26, 2003 at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake, Waterford. Friends are invited to sign the book of condolences at www.funeral-cast.com. Special thanks to nurse Nancy for her compassion and Dr. Yar for his patience and understanding. Dad was a gentle man who was loved by all. His sense of humor will be missed by many friends. He will be forever remembered for the smile on his face and the glint in his eye.

Dear father of Adriana, Patricia, Charles and Susan (Robert Lindsay). Loving grandfather of Pam, Aaron, Elgin, April and Wade and great grandfather of Makayla and Kaitlyn. Brother of Adrian (Allie), Jeanne (Jan) and the late Piet, Mien, Jan and Annie all of Holland. Brother-in-law of Tina Greenhill. As well as being a farmer, Charlie was for many years a milk inspector for the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. Loving grandfather of Tara, Amie, Katy, Shannon, Marliese, Taylor, Benjamin, Alex, and Jack, and four great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Marie Murphy, Joseph, John, Dennis, and Raymond Sexton. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Husband of the late Dorothy (Benner) Schweyer. Loving father of Susan and Steve Otterman of Tiverton and Bryan and Janet Schweyer of Townsend. Dear grandfather of Ed and Lisa, Mike and Cathy, Drew, Emily, and the late Lisa. Dear great grandfather of Devon, Avery, Kyle, and Cameron. Son of the late Charles and Margaret (Schaeffer) Schweyer. Brother of the late Emma Schweyer, Louise Nauman, Bertha Winger, Carl Schweyer, and Margaret Roth. Brother-In-Law of Doris Schweyer, and Ed and Shirley Benner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. George was a lifetime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fisherville He was past president and a charter member of the Fisherville District Lions Club. During his year as president they sponsored the Haldimand Association for the Developmentally Challenged in Cayuga which George took great pride and interest in. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many friends and relatives. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Weiderick Memorial Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd, Fisherville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fisherville on Friday August 29, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment Trinity Lutheran cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Haldimand Association for the Developmentally Challenged or the Trinity Lutheran Church.
