Schank, Stanley Peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Tuesday, September 9, 2003. Stan Schank Sr. of Owen Sound in his 87th year. Husband of the late Margaret Viola (nee Subject). Loving father of Evelyn and her husband Allan Marquette of Bear Island, Ontario, Helen and the late Ron Lee, Doris and her husband Harold Metcalfe all of Wingham, Sharon Baker of London and Stan Schank Jr. and his wife Barb of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Brother of Leonard Schank and his wife Shirley, Viola, Doreen and Florence. Predeceased by one grandson Keith Metcalfe, one great-granddaughter Shannon Davis, one great-great-granddaughter Renee Ornsby and two brothers Hilbert and Wesley. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Wednesday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, September 11th at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Bayview cemetery , Wiarton. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Robson, Florence Elizabeth ( Pearl ) Suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Thursday October 2, 2003. Pearl Robson of Barrie was the beloved wife of the late Harold Leroy Robson. Loving mother of Mabel Cripps of Phelpston, Ronald Robson and his wife Lorraine of Barrie, and John (Jack) Robson and his wife Julie of Barrie. Dear grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother Ralph Cooper. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home (Clapperton and Worsley St. ), Barrie on Saturday 7-9 pm and on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Service in the chapel on Monday October 6 at 11:00am. Interment Barrie Union cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Ambulance Pet Therapy Dogs (D1051) or charity of your choice.

Dear father of John Andrew Rice, and Gail Marie Rice, London, all formerly of Bright's Grove. Son of Mary Sabina Rice & the late John Rice, Clydebank, Scotland. Brother of Patrick Rice, Dundee, Scotland. Predeceased by brother James Rice. John was a member of the A.F. of L. Millwright Local 1592. There will not be a funeral home visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2003 at Sacred Heart Church, Sarnia. Interment Resurrection cemetery. Arrangements by McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to The Canadian Cancer Society, 118 N. Victoria St., Sarnia, N7T 5W8.

Ricci, Domenico

Ricci, Domenico, 68 years, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday September 28, 2003. Beloved husband of Ida (Maiuri). Dear father of Deni and wife Susan, Wheatley; Francesco and wife Ida, Shelby Twp., Michigan; Mary DeFrancisco and husband Greg, Leamington. Loving nonno of Kalan, Karissa, Konnor, Domenico, Grace Anne, Erica, Delaney and Mitchell. Dear brother of Teresa Venditti, Italy; Pierina Longi, Italy; Pasquale Ricci and wife Ida, Niagara Falls; Sossio Ricci and wife Palmina, Niagara Falls; Maria Ippolitti, Leamington; Rosa Fornella and husband Mike, Leamington and the late Pietro and Camillo Ricci. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Domenico was a proud nonno who will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. He worked for the H.J.Heinz Co. for 35 years until his retirement, was well known for his masonary talents, was an active member of W.R.A.C.E. and winner of numerous runner of the year awards. Domenico finished 21 marathon races throughout North America and Europe over the last 13 years. One of his greatest running accomplishments was completing the Boston Marathon twice. He was also a founding member of the Leamington Roma Club. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington (326-2631), on Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday October 1, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. then to St. Michael’s Church for Mass to celebrate Domenico’s life at 10 a.m. Fr. Peter Amszej officiating. Entombment Erie Memorial Gardens. Parish Prayers Tuesday evening. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Leamington Hospital Cat Scan Fund or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Dear stepmother to Vincent, Carmen & husband Tim, Carmelle, Jeannine & husband John, Paulette & husband Grant, Yvette & partner Mark. Proud grandmother to Sarah, Michelle, Jocelyne, Emma, Marc and Evan. Bella is also survived by a sister Clara Cloutier & sisters-in-law Nora & Dolores Rocheleau. Predeceased by sister Hilda & husband Edmond Gagnon, brothers Joseph Rocheleau, Eugene & wife Mabel, Lawrence and brother-in-law Mike Cloutier. Visiting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N., Essex (776-7378) on Sunday evening from 7 to 9m., Monday 2 to 5pm & 7 to 9 pm. Family & friends are asked to gather on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at St. Clement’s Church, McGregor at l:00 pm until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm. Father B. Kornacker Celebrant. Interment St. Clements Church cemetery. C.W.L. prayers will be held on Monday at 3:00 pm followed by Parish prayers at 4:00 pm. RAYMONT, Agnes Jean (nee Hunter) passed away peacefully, on September 11, 2003 at the Leamington District Memorial Hospital, Leamington, at the age of 86 years. Wife of the Late Russell (1986). Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Jean was a Licensed Lay Minister with the United Church for many years. Visiting at the Stewart L. Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N., Essex (776-7378) on Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Funeral service to be held in the funeral home on Saturday September 13, 2003 at 10:00 am. Rev. Loving daughter of Janice Ramsay, Cottam and James and Charlene Ramsay, Blenheim. Cherished sister of Jason Ramsay, Cottam. Grandaughter of Helen Ramsay, Essex. Jamie will be greatly missed by her lifetime friend Kelly O'Reilley. She will also be remembered by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents Donald and Valmai Roberts and Roderick Ramsay. Jamie's smile and courage will be remembered by everyone who knew her. Loving daughter of Gavin and the late Frances Hamilton of Streetsville. Dear sister of Matthew and Alex Hamilton, both of Hamilton, Tom Hamilton and his wife Mandy, and David Hamilton, all of Beamsville, and the late Pearl Hastings. Sister-in-law of Allan Hastings of Innisfil. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Jack Pulkkinen, of Orillia, formerly of Sudbury, beloved husband of 62 years of the late Esther (nee, Erickson). Loving father of Raymond (predeceased) & wife Linda of Sudbury, Sharon Fish & husband Vern of Bracebridge, Debra Snell Van Noort & husband Michael of Orillia, Michael & wife Linda of Sundridge, Richard & wife Sharon of Orillia, and Brian also of Orillia. Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and their families. Survived by sister Irja Kovila of Sudbury. Predeceased by brothers Joe, John, Elmer, Elmo, and Ivan. Following cremation, a Private Family Memorial Service will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia. Entombment:- St. Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia. Dearly loved father of Stephen and wife Debbie of Orillia and Martin predeceased. Proud and devoted nanny of Matthew, Alyshia, and Nathan. Loving daughter of Joyce Warner of Orillia and the late Courtney McDonald. Dear sister of Beryl Wood & husband Mike of Barrie and survived by her neice Sonia Wood and nephews Mark & Paul Wood. Cremation will be followed by a celebration of Jean's life which will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34, Orillia, on Friday, September 19th from 2 to 4 PM.
