Beloved wife of the late George Henry Miles. Dear sister of Mabel Appleton and Margaret Damant. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. MOE, Iola "Grace" (nee Upcott), passed away on September 17, 2003, at the Windsor Regional Hospital -Metropolitan Campus at the age of 90 years. Born October 10, 1912. Late residence of Southgate Retirement Home in Kingsville. Daughter of the late Clara (Bostwick) and Jason Upcott. Dear wife of the late Basil Moe (June 1962). Dear mother of Etta Reder and husband John.Grandmother of Beverley Carnahan & husband John, Phil Reder and wife Linda, Lynn Robinet and husband Mike. Great gramma of Jason McMurren and the late Jeff McMurren (1994), step-grandmother of Matt Carnahan and wife Mellonie and step- great great gramma of Alex & Zackery Carnahan. Also survived by sister Gladys Oliver and husband Ted. Predeceased by sisters Beulah Rushmere, Beatrice Luke, Pat Smith and brother Clayton Upcott. She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Peter Vajda. Grace was a switchboard operator at Metropolitan hospital for many years and enjoyed several winters in Arizona on retirement. At Grace’s request there is to be only private family services. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home is entrusted with funeral arrangements.

MOORE, Barry Charles (March 2nd, 1956 - September 13th, 2003) Suddenly, on September 13th, 2003, Barry tragically drowned while canoeing on Bass Lake, Orillia. He is painfully mourned and deeply missed by his loving wife Tracy, and their children Nathaniel, Adrienne, Michael, and Jeffrey. He was the beloved son of Dorothy & Oliver Hopkins and Howard Moore, all of Orillia, and grandson of Bessie Steels of Coldwater. He was brother of Dianne & Harvey Johnstone and Bruce Moore. He has left a hole in the hearts of his nieces and nephew; Nicole, Kerry, Keeley, Joshua, & Breanne, and his many cousins and friends. He is now in heaven, singing and laughing with Jesus.......for he knew:

(P. Eng. and a WWII Veteran) - With deepest sadness, the family announces the death of Paul on August 20, 2003 at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe. Paul is the beloved husband of Kathleen, cherished dad of Mary Margaret, Peter and Jonda, loving brother of Meg, Milda and Beth and brother-in-law of Sister Mary Margaret Finn and the late Fathers Joseph P. Finn and John R. Finn and Dr. William J. Finn. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Paul's passion was Electrical Engineering. He was a member of I.E.E.E., and was the proud recipient of the Tesla Award and a member of the Newman Club Foundation. Upon his retirement from Ontario Hydro, he began a second career at the University of Toronto as a professor in the Faculty of Engineering. He will be greatly missed by colleagues, friends and family. During WWII he served as an Electrical Sub-Lieut with the R.C.N.V.R.
