Miles, Carol Ann Muriel (nee Weber). Suddenly at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on Monday, July 28, 2003. Ann Miles of Jarvis, formerly of Lucknow, in her 56th year. Beloved wife of John. Dear mother of Steven and his fiance Erin Lomore of Simcoe and James (Jamie) of Hamilton. Sister of Marlene and Gary Jamieson and Clare and Faye Weber. Also survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews. Friends are invited to call at Cooper Funeral Home, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Ann will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Greenhill cemetery , Lucknow on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Tytgat, Roger peacefully on Wednesday October 29, 2003 surrounded by his loving family at Windsor Regional Hospital at the age of 70. Late of Essex. Beloved husband of Elaine (Beneteau) for 44 years. Loving father of Bonnie Blahovich and husband Bruce, Laurie Kimball and husband Rick, Shelley Moody and husband Dave and Wayne Tytgat and wife Lisa. Proud Papa of Peter, Emily and Rachel Blahovich, Meghan and Jessica Kimball, Dillon and Mitchell Moody, and Jordanne, Nicole and Alyssa Tytgat. Dearest brother of Margaret Verschueren and husband Morris, Rachel DeLaurier and husband Don, Andy and wife Rose, Morris and wife Terry, Elsie Chevrier and her late husband Lawrence, and his twin, George and wife Theresa. Dear brother-in-law of Ray Beneteau and wife Elaine, and the late Ivan Beneteau and wife Beverley. Roger was predeceased by his parents Paul and Emily Tytgat, and his brother Harry. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Roger was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 3305, Essex and retired from a life of farming. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (776-4233) on Thursday and Friday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday November 1st from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate Roger’s life at 10:00 a.m.. Fr. Larry Brunet and Fr. Michael Parent officiating. Interment Country Meadows cemetery. K of C Prayers Thursday evening at 8 p.m., Parish Prayers Friday evening at 8 p.m.. Memorial donations made to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and in the I.C.U. at Met.

A funeral service will be held at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie, on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Memorial donations to the “Elevator Fund” of Central United Church or Royal Victoria Hospital-Oncology Dept. would be appreciated.

Dear mother of Diane Kennedy and husband John of Halifax, Denise Aternino and husband Bruno of Toronto and Charles Wood of Orillia. Loved grandmother of Michael and Douglas Kennedy and Cassandra and Tessa Aternino. She is loved and will be missed by 2 sisters, one brother, her nephew, Don Brady and many other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial service in the chapel on Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2002, at 1 o'clock, followed by cremation. If desired, Memorial donations made to the Ontario Prader-Willi Syndrome Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Les Anthony of Owen Sound in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Muriel (nee Rudd). Dear father of Murray and his wife Diane of Timmins and Elizabeth and her husband Robert Jean of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Cory, Cheryl, Connie and Nicholas. Also survived by his sister Muriel and her husband Bob Allen of Kentville, Nova Scotia. Brother in law of Joan Anthony, Rita Anthony and Clyde Scofield. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Catherine Anthony, three brothers Tony, Murray and Kenneth and a sister Joyce Scofield. Visitation at the Tannahill Funeral Home (376-3710) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral will be held. Interment , Leith cemetery. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, King’s-Edgehill School or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Appleby, Joseph Norman Born March 4, 1932 in Gateshead, England, passed away quite suddenly, late Thursday afternoon of a massive coronary in his 71st year. Joe, a.k.a. VA3 JNA will be greatly missed, he touched the lives of many and his heart was truly made of gold. He is survived by his wife Florence, three children Norman, Robert and Louise, four grandchildren Daniel, Joanna, Lee and Holly, a daughter in law Jill Appleby and son in law Randy Doherty. We love and miss you; your light will shine forever. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Tannahill Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock with Dr. Brad Clark officiating. Cherished Nonno of Nicole, Jovan, Adrianna, & Carmella Arcuri, Jason & Stacie Dobson, Katelynn & Nathan Arnott, and Ella Donovan. Dear brother of the late Saveria & Giovanni Spadafora (Italy) Battista & Rachela Arcuri (France), Teresa & Salvatore Lopetrone (Point Edward), Pasquale & the late Rosina Arcuri (Italy), Giuseppe & Domenica Arcuri, (Italy) and Caterina & Francesco Scigliano (Italy). Dear brother-in-law of Domenico & Caterina Federico (Pt. Edward), Giuseppe & Angela Federico (Pt. Edward) and Raffaele & Gina Federica (Italy). He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe & Angela Maria (Audia) Arcuri. Mr. Arcuri was a resident of Pt. Edward since 1965, a proud member of the Laborers Union Local 1089 and also a member of the Dante Club. Predeceased by husband Wasyl “Bill” Audowiretz and parents Eva and Alex Malijkyj. Anna was a long time member of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia Tuesday 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers being offered at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Wednesday October 15, 2003 at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Loving father of Dan & his wife Joanne, Sarnia, John & his wife Cheryl, London, Pat Kelly & husband Bob, Burlington and Kathy Bedard & husband Brad, Sarnia. Dear grandfather of Stephanie, Christopher, Nicole, Scott, MacIntyre, Patrick, Sean, Tyler, Tara, Curtis, Ashley, Nick, Grant and Chloe. Brother of Loretto Barry, Vancouver, Marie Klein, Hyde Park, N.Y. and Eleanor Reinhardt, Honeoye Falls, N.Y. Also will be dearly missed by family Bud & Jane Green, New Liskeard. Predeceased by brother Martin and sisters Teresa and Hellen. A graduate of Queen's University Engineering Program and a member of The Professional Engineers Society of Canada, Tom worked in Sarnia as the Process Superintendent at The Canadian Oil Refinery, now Shell Canada. The focus of Tom's last decade of his career was that of environmental control as a consulting engineer. He was an active member of the Sarnia Lambton Environmental Association. As a loving grandfather, Tom enjoyed being part of his grandchildren's many
accomplishments and activities. Dad was a great support to all his children in his own unique and loving style. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. Sarnia, Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, Corunna.

Ruth was the beloved wife of Ron, and devoted mother of Deborah Tennant of Barrie, and Douglas Eaton of Niagara-on-the-Lake, mother-in-law of Ron Tennant, Jane Eaton, and Karen Eaton, step-mother of Bruce Bassett and his wife Julie, and Brian Bassett and his wife Sheila, all of Toronto. Grandmother of Noel Gondek and his wife Melodie, James Eaton, Stephanie Eaton, Doug and Sarah Tennant, Hilary and Simon Bassett, and Elizabeth Bassett. Great-grandmother of Taylor, Dillon, and Joseph Gondek. Beloved sister of Clarence and Vimy Alexander of Kamloops, B.C., and Pearl and Gordon Morgan of London, Ontario. Predeceased by beloved sister Myrtle Stabbler. Dearly missed by niece Sandy Bautz, and nephews Glenn and Bradley Alexander and their families. Ruth was a World War II veteran with the REME, CWAC, and long time member of the travel industry as a Hotel Representative. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 24 Collier Street, Barrie, Ontario, on Monday, October 27th, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOMES, BARRIE.
