Our grief is only made bearable knowing that our mother will never be forgotten by the many people whose lives she touched with her humour, gentleness and compassion for all living creatures. Thank you to Dr. Kevin Foster, her physician for over 25 years, who always treated her with outstanding care and compassion. Thank you to Lynn and Jean for always making her feel special. Thank you to Dr. Tannous and Dr. Rajagopaul for considering what was best for our mother to be of paramount importance. We will never forget the kindness, exemplary care, compassion and understanding of all the nurses on the Brock Surgical Unit (Greater Niagara General Hospital). Thank you seems inadequate for all that you did for mom and for us, but know that it is a thank you that comes from our hearts. The nurses of Unit D (GNGH) cared for mom and all of us in her final days with great sensitivity making her journey home as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Thank you. Thank you to our many family members and friends who sustained mom and us at this most difficult time with their visits and prayers. Thank you especially to Kathy and Brian, Judy Berni, Jackie, Terry, June and Jack. We will never forget your kindness. A heartfelt thank you to our cousin, Rev. Donald Lizzotti for always being present for mom and for us. We thank you for your love, devotion, blessings and the beautiful funeral mass. As always, we love you. Thank you to Father Bill DeRousie for concelebrating the funeral mass. We thank Carol Martin. We know that your beautiful singing brought a smile to mom's heart as it uplifted ours in sorrow.
