She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Roshan and Shanika Abraham and Dileeni Abraham, Wiji Leonard Theivendra, Larraine Tanuja and Ajayan Kadirgamar, Anusha and Dirome Anthony and Samantha Manoharan and great-grandson Arjuna. She was the youngest daughter of the late Chinnadurai Nicholas and Kanmani of Sri Lanka, and the last surviving member as a sister of her large family of brothers Julius Nicholas, Ponnudurai Nicholas, Blake Nicholas, Walter Nicholas, Bernard Nicholas, and Victor Nicholas and sisters Mrs. Kanagaratnam, Mrs. Nagamuthu, Mrs. Sinnatamby and Mrs. Angela Rajadurai. BOYLE, Jim - On December 3, 2006, Jim Boyle died at the Englehart and District Hospital, at the age of 57. He was born in Toronto and lived in Elk Lake for 32 years. Jim served as an Ontario Provincial Police Officer for 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Pauline, whom he was married to for 31 years; his children Jim, Julie-Anne and Michael; son-in-law Benjie Roy and grandchildren Chloe and Manon. He is also survived by his mother Monica Boyle, brothers Brian, John, Gerry and Leonard; sisters Teresa and Mary; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his father James K. Boyle. The funeral was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart with the Funeral Mass celebrated at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Englehart on Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. Father Gilles Leblanc officiating. DR. HUGH OTTER BARBER - Dearly loved husband of Joyce Barber, died December 14th, 2006 at the age of 83 years, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. His true loves in his life were his family and medicine. Hugh really enjoyed guiding and teaching young doctors at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto. Hugh was the head of the ENT Department at Sunnybrook for many years. He loved the challenge and association with NASA and the Space Shuttle program involving research into dizziness. He was a top expert in his field of medicine. Hugh was recognized and respected throughout the world and received many accolades. Finally and the most important, Hugh was married to Joyce for 60 wonderful years.
