DAY, Keith - (Founder of Model Builders Supply). Suddenly in Kingsville on Monday, October 8, 2007 in his 76th year. Keith, of Kingsville, formerly of Aurora. Beloved husband of Giovanna (nee Catania). Loving father of Susan and her husband Erwin Jeschke of Bowmanville, Wendy and her husband Pud Hamilton of Aurora, Robert and his wife Kimberley Theriault of Aurora. Adored Grandad to Asia and Rory and predeceased by his grandson Jocelin. Keith will be fondly remembered by Monica Day, relatives and many friends. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (northeast corner of Yonge and Industrial Parkway, 905-727-5421), Aurora on Friday, October 12 from 6 p.m. until the service at 7 p.m. Cremation. BIRD, Stanley Robert - Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the age of 83. Beloved and deeply cherished husband of Doris for 57 years. Loving father of Christopher (Sharon) and Wendy (Brad) Morrison. Dear grandfather of Justin, Scott, Matthew, Geoffrey, Zachary, Ellie, Annie and Charlotte. Brother of George. Predeceased by brothers James, Robert, Sid, Charles, and sisters Dolly and Rose. Fellow Royal Engineer and old china plate' of Ron Ellard (predeceased). Stan was a wonderful man, who will always be remembered as being devoted to his family, and forever loyal to his homeland, England. COUTURE, Jennie Elizabeth - Peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital Finch Site on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in her 84th year. Jennie, beloved wife of the late Amie Couture. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangments entrusted to the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home Ltd.

COLLINS, Ivy Kathleen - passed away July 23, 2007 after a long full life shared with us. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 13th, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Aidan's Church, 318 Queen Mary Dr., Oakville (east of Kerr St. at Steward St.) followed by a reception at the Parish Hall.

ALCOTT, Ernest "Ernie" - Unexpectantly, but peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Tuesday, October 9th, 2007, in his 94th year, formerly of Port Colborne and Georgetown. Devoted husband of Edith for the past 71 years. Beloved father of Barbara and her husband Bob Yowart of Fergus and Bob and his wife Anja of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of David (Janet), Bradley (Leslie), Jeff and Susie and great-grandfather of Jesse, Alicia, Dylan and Bradley. Ernie was a WW II Veteran, and a long time member and served as a Sunday School Superintendant for the United Church of Canada and long time member and Past President of the Lions Club. Ernie will be remembered for his wonderful personality and his great sense of humour and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. "May he rest in peace." God called Giuseppe peacefully on October 10, 2007 at the age of 80. He will be cherished by his loving wife Loreta and will be sadly missed by his dear children Fabrizio (Mary Joanne) and Giancarlo (Rita). Proud grandfather of Jordana (Nabil Zakaria), Jenessa, Jaclyn, Julia, Leandra and Lindsey. He will be re-united in Heaven with his siblings Domenica, Antonio and Franco; he will be adored by his siblings Libero, and Gilda (Italy). He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many, many friends. Family will receive friends at the Fratelli Vescio Funeral Homes Ltd. (8101 Weston Rd., south of Langstaff Rd., 905-850-3332) on Thursday 6-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from St. David's Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Private entombment to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the Appugliesi family will accept donations to The Hospital for Sick Children - Neurology Department and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

COLACCI, Victor - passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Beloved husband for 46 years of Lynda. Mabel, in her 100th year, went to join the Lord, and her husband, the late Joseph Cooper Evans (1987), formerly Registrar and Director of Alumni Affairs, University of Toronto. Loving mother to Don of Orillia, Sally Jo (Bill) Martin of Toronto, and Frances (Peter) Ricketts of Toronto. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Scott (Maha), Becky (Michael), Amanda (Jon), Jesse (Alexis), Martha (Paddy), Laura Jean and David, and by her great-grandsons, Aldwyn and Ibrahim. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 between 7-9 p.m. at the MORLEY BEDFORD FUNERAL HOME, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto (2 stoplights west of Yonge Street). A celebration of Mabel's life will be held in the Bedford chapel on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the caring staff at Christie Gardens.
