WARD, JEAN (Jeannie) IRENE (formerly Pierson) suddenly at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 24th, 2003; in her 73rd year. Jeannie Ward (nee: White), of Ardtrea & formerley of Toronto, beloved wife of Ronald Ward. Predeceased by her sister Eleanor & husbnad Mac Walls. The late Mrs. Jean Ward will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia from 7 - 9 P.M. Friday. Funeral & Committal Service in the chapel on Saturday ;morning, September 27th at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Paul's Anglican cemetery , Lake St. Geroge. If desired, Memorial Donations to any Research Fund of your choice would be gratefully appreicated.

WEBSTER, Mary Serina (Todd), Suddenly at her home in Brantford on Saturday, November 1, 2003 in her 67th year. Survived by her husband Art "Sonny" Webster of Port Dover. Daughter of Vera Powell of British Columbia. Much loved and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl and Doug Harrington of Waterford, Patricia and Mark Mucy of Brantford and James and Tina Webster of Wilsonville. Cherished grandmother of Natasha and her fiance Patrick, Stacey Harrington and Andrea Webster, great grandmother of Katelynn Harrington. Dear sister of Charles and Richard Powell, Debbie Aqualina and Elaine Petkau. Predeceased by a brother Harvey Powell. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary, formerly of Port Dover, was a very active community member, giving endless hours of her time to many organizations. She was a long time member of the Port Dover Kinnettes, very dedicated to the "March of Dimes" fundraising, an avid bowler with the former Beach Alley Bowling League, loved her card playing, bingo, knitting, crocheting and crafts. She was an active member of the Lorne Towers Seniors Club in Brantford and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, St. George Branch. Mary, with her kindness and endless concern for others, will be fondly remembered by all the lives she touched, and she will be sadly missed by her best friend "Thunder". Mrs. Webster is at the THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (583-1530). Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 11 am, Rev. Gary Patterson officiating, followed by cremation. Memorial donations to the Spina Bifida Foundation, Canadian Cancer Sociey, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of ones' choice would be kindly acknowledged.

He practiced as a Professional Engineer in Hamilton and Sarnia, and held Canadian, U.S., and European Patents in the field of Mechanical Propulsion. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Lydia Weir (nee Runstedler) (1989). Cherished father of William & wife Margaret Weir, Australia, E. Thomas Weir, Australia, Chris Weir, Mt. Hope, Paul & wife Bekky Weir, Sarnia, Mary Weir & husband Rex Plant, Hamilton, Gregory Weir, Hamilton, Rod Weir, Puslinch, Sue Weir & husband Ken Cox, Minto, Jennifer Weir & husband Neil McNair, Alvinston, Liz Weir & Colin Morris, New Zealand, Cameron Weir, Magog, Que. Grandfather of Tara, Jeremy, Aaron, Ashley, Jessica, Brendan, Evan, Alethea, Rowan, the late Mikkel, Kassandra, Brent, Adrian, Madeline, and Emmaline. Great-grandfather of Connor, Jayden, Brady, and Angelo. Brother of Ken Weir, Preston. WITT, Kathleen Grace (nee: Peltz) peacefully with her sons by her side at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on August 15, 2003; at the age of 51. Predeceased by husband Gary. Loving mother of Kevin and Jason (Michelle). Proud nana of Kyle, Jesse and Jacob. Cherished daughter of Robert & Gertrude Peltz of Peterborough. Dear sister of Victoria, Linda, Arlene, and Stephen. Predeceased by her brother William. The late Mrs. Kathleen Witt will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 6-9 p.m. Monday. Beloved husband for 53 years of Lillian (Cameron) Gibson. Dear father of Fred and Jane of Tiverton, Bev and Walter Lupton of Hamilton, Ken and Minnie of Hamilton and Ralph and Cathy of Caledonia. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by grandson Adam Samuel Gibson and brothers Arthur and Percy. Harold retired from Stelco 12-10 Mill in 1982 after 39 years of service. He was an Amateur Radio Operator, VE3NKU. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. BODDINGTON, Ann, BA (Oxon) - Ann Boddington, honorary member of University of Toronto Scarborough where she was a member of the faculty in Humanities (Classics) 1965-1995, was born in Burghill, Hereford, England on September 21, 1929 and died on June 11, 2007 at Scarborough General Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her family in England, her brother Ray Boddington and his wife Norma, her sister Elizabeth (Lib) Bennett and her husband Rodney, by her nieces and nephews in Britain and Australia and by her many friends, neighbours and colleagues. She will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter Elsie and her husband Pat, her grandchildren David, Susan and John, and by her great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and James, who were her greatest pride and joy. Dear aunt to Frank and Doris Whittaker, Irene Iddon, Bill and Dorothy Farnworth, Denis and Sheila Whittaker, Mavis and Ron McTaggart, and their families, all of England. Died Monday, March 27, 2006 after a prolonged struggle with cancer which he bore with courage, grace and dignity. Beloved and devoted husband of Gerri. Dear brother of William James. Remembered with love by Gerri’s children: Stacey (Matt) and Jeff (Jamie). Proud Grandpa of Shay-Lynne. Brother-in-law of Beverly (Glen), Jackie, Rick (Judy), Wendy (Uwe), Lori (Jim), John (Judy) and the late Joyce. Loving father of Scott William and Kelley Anne. He will be missed by his former colleagues at Elliott Special Risks, as well as his many friends throughout Canada and the U.S.A.
As a man of honesty, integrity and simplicity he gave those around him an example of how to live without affectation.
In accordance with Roy’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral or memorial service. Steven Carr - Peacefully, in the presence of his family, on Tuesday January 25, 2011 at the Georgetown Hospital. Steve, 39 years of age, beloved husband of Janet. Loving father of Lilly and Edee.
