Dear mother of Barbara Gerhardt and husband Rob, Kingsville; Glenn Fisher and wife Lucinda, Staples; Kenneth Fisher, Windsor and the late Brian Fisher (1977). Loving grandmother of Jacqueline, Britney, Stephanie Gerhardt, Tabitha and Jessica Fisher, Madison and Hailey Fisher. Dear sister of Don Morrison and wife Girlie, Staples; Donna Jean Garant and husband Maurice, Deerbrook; Willie Morrison and wife Maria, Harrow; Della Bailey, Windsor; Linda White, Windsor; Carol Trepanier and husband Jim, Texas and Hilda Grant, London. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Clara was a retired nurse at Leamington Hospital, a member of weight watchers and the New Voice Club. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington (326-2631), on Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday December 19, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. then to St. Michael’s Church for Mass to celebrate Clara’s life at 10 a.m. Cremation. Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, July 8th in his 97th year. The eldest son of five children of the late William and Melissa Fallis (nee Milne) of Minto Township, Ont. Dearly beloved husband of the late A. Ruth Fallis (nee Bostock, deceased Nov. 16, 2001). Devoted, loving father of his sons and their wives Alex (Wanda) of Ottawa, Hugh (Marylin) of Monte Creek, and Bruce (Wendy) of Winnipeg. Cherished and respected grandfather of Graham (Tina) and Dawn (Scott) of Ottawa, Glenn of Vancouver, Leandra of Toronto, Stephen and Julie of Monte Creek. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, brother Allan (Hazel) of Brantford and sister-in-law Isabel of Harriston. Murray's scientific colleagues, church associates, relatives, and world wide circle of friends will miss his inspired leadership, generosity, compassion and sense of humor. He enriched the lives of many and took special pride in the success and accomplishments of others, particularly his former students, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and their spouses.
