Ruby (Hare) Stone, formerly of R.R. 3, Port Dover and R.R. 3, Scotland, in her 84th year. Beloved wife and best friend for 58 years to Bryce Stone of Scotland. Loving mother of Eileen Morden and her husband David of Simcoe, Eugene at home, Larry of Fisherville and Sharon Cadman and her husband Charles of Tillsonburg. She is also survived by brothers Clair Hare of Port Dover and Leo Hare of Simcoe. Loving grandmother of Wayne and Michael Stone, Jennifer Cadman and Bradley Morden. Ruby was the daughter of the late Hubert and Martha Hare of Port Dover. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Sandra in 1999. As a lifelong farmer's wife and caring mother, she enjoyed quilting, cooking and knitting. For many years when she lived in the Port Dover area, she transported children to the Simcoe Lions School for special education. During her retirement years, she was able to travel across much of Canada and the U.S. and spent many winters in Florida.
