LISTER, Muriel L. (nee Fuller) - passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday October 13th, 2002, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Bramwell Lister. Cherished mother of Garry and his wife Noreen and Gale Blackburn and her husband Bert; dear sister of Harold Fuller. Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Greg and Katie Lister and Rebecca Blackburn, her nieces Kathy Henry, Noreen Wilder, Ruth Dyer and Inez Bray, and her nephew Gordon Fuller. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives. Muriel was a long time resident of Schomberg and later enjoyed retirement in Newmarket. She volunteered her time and efforts in many ways, including over 20 years will Telecare York Distress Call Centre. Muriel and Bram received the Bruce McDougall Award in recognition of their dedicated service to Telecare. For many years, Muriel was an active member of Schomberg United Church and later, New Hope Methodist Church in Newmarket. Muriel s family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, in Tottenham, on Thursday October 24. Visitation will be from 1-2:30pm, followed by funeral service at 2:30 p.m. and interment at Kettleby cemetery.
