CARTER, Kenneth - Suddenly at his home in Bradford on Saturday, October 12, 2002. Ken Carter in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of late Helen (Saint). Dear father of James (Pina), Paul (Maggie) and Kim. Beloved poppie of Kaitlyn. Dear brother of Phyllis Collings, Mary Bannerman and predeceased by Douglas (Bus). Graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant cemetery , Bradford on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiac Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket would be appreciated.

BLOOMER. Elizabeth- At her home, on Thursday October 10th, 2002. Elizabeth Bell, in her 73rd year, beloved wife of David Bloomer. Loving mother of David, Dianne (Graham), Denise (Peter), and Donna (Rob), Devoted granny to Kyle, Sarah and Alistair. Dear sister of Irene and Robert Logan and Matthew Bell, all of Scotland. Rested at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham, (905)936-3477, from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, October 13th, 2002. Funeral service was held in the chapel, Monday October 14th, 2002, at 11a.m. followed by interment in Schomberg Union cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

LISTER, Muriel L. (nee Fuller) - passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday October 13th, 2002, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Bramwell Lister. Cherished mother of Garry and his wife Noreen and Gale Blackburn and her husband Bert; dear sister of Harold Fuller. Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Greg and Katie Lister and Rebecca Blackburn, her nieces Kathy Henry, Noreen Wilder, Ruth Dyer and Inez Bray, and her nephew Gordon Fuller. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives. Muriel was a long time resident of Schomberg and later enjoyed retirement in Newmarket. She volunteered her time and efforts in many ways, including over 20 years will Telecare York Distress Call Centre. Muriel and Bram received the Bruce McDougall Award in recognition of their dedicated service to Telecare. For many years, Muriel was an active member of Schomberg United Church and later, New Hope Methodist Church in Newmarket. Muriel s family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, in Tottenham, on Thursday October 24. Visitation will be from 1-2:30pm, followed by funeral service at 2:30 p.m. and interment at Kettleby cemetery. A reception will follow at Schomberg United Church at 4:00 p.m. In Muriel s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society through Abrams Funeral Home at (905)936-3477

Loving mother of Mary-Ellen Hails, and Bill and his wife Sheila Hamilton. Grandmother to Jason Hails. Great grandmother to Sydney Hails. A funeral service was held at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, Richmond Hill on Tuesday, October 15, 2002. KUNIG, Franz - passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, on Friday, October 11th, 2002 in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband of Brunhilda Kunig of Keswick. McBRIDE, Everett John - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, husband, and papa at the ripe young age of 83. It was a very courageous battle with cancer that he lost. Everett, loving husband of Doris Marion for 59 years. Devoted brother of James Edward McBride. Predeceased by son Allan James McBride and his sister Ivy Clark. Dear father of Marilynne and Mike, Richard and Helen, Gail and Tom, Gary and Debbie, Susan and Sam, Randy and Sherry, and Jackie and Richard. Papa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Great grandmother of Cole, Logan, Ashley, Kaitland, Clayton and Kendra. Survived by brother Lorne Heise. Schulz, Martin Franz - Suddenly, while on vacation in Barbados on Friday, March 21st, 2003 in his 69th year. Martin, beloved husband of Beryl and loving father of Nadja and her husband Jose Martinez and Wolfgang and his wife Kathy. Devoted Opa of Gabriela and Joseph Martinez and Jeremy and Luke Schulz. He will be lovingly remembered by the rest of his family and friends, especially family companion Seina Allen. Bernath, Mary Hunt- Mary, a long time resident of Markham, Ontario passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday, March 26th, 2003 at 91 years of age. Sadly missed by her son Stephen Bernath (Dianne) and by her daughters Irene Andrews (Robert) and June Molnar (Richard); survived by her brother Alex Stevenson; lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Randy Molnar, Debbie Gauthier, Cindy Kruse, Alison McNeill, Richard Bernath, James Bernath and Kelly MacKenzie; loved and respected by her 11 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and friends of the family. Predeceased by her husband Stephen Bernath, grandson Joel Molnar, and her brothers Douglas and John Stevenson. Resting at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North, Markham, Ontario. Viewing on Sunday, March 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday, March 31st at 11 a.m. Internment to follow at Prospect cemetery. O'Neill, Mary (nee Whitehead). Age 67. Succumbed to Bulbar ALS (Lou Gehrig s Disease) at Southlake Regional Health Centre on March 20, 2003. Sadly missed by husband and best friend James of Newmarket, ON, by children Peter (Lidia) of Brooklin, ON, Michael (Jocelyn) of Brossard, QC, Kathryn of Markham, ON, Sharon (Doug) Gilbert of Mississauga, ON, and Sean of Newmarket, ON, and by grand- children Stephanie and Justin Morfopoulos and Rheanna and Corben Gilbert. Also survived by one sister, Shirley Rhicard, of Brooksville, FL. To respect her wishes, organs are being donated for A.L.S. Research with remains cremated afterwards. A memorial service will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations would be appreciated by the family.
