Pollock Jerald (Jerry) Roy - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their father Jerry Pollock in his 81st year. On March 30, 2003, Jerry left us to be with the Lord after a brief illness at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto. STEWART, Kathryn - passed away peacefully, surrounded by her very close friends, on Monday, November 6, 2006 at Markham- Stouffville Hospital at age 56, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Doris and Duncan Stewart and her brother Jimmy. Survived by her brother Bill. Kathy was a dedicated employee of IBM Canada for over 30 years. She touched many lives with her friendship and generous nature. She was passionate about her volunteer work for Markham Theatre and Participation House, where she was loved by all who knew her. Kathy will be especially missed by her three chosen girls: Kristin, Katrina and Jill. Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, November 8th at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave (4 lights north of Hwy 7) Markham 905-305-8508. TURNER, Leonard James - in Nanaimo, B.C. at the age of 93. Survived by his beloved wife Rose, his sister Dora, his daughters June (Cliff), and Wendy (Bruce); his grandchildren, Peter (Ngaire), Wendy (George), Stuart, Ian, Beric (Diane), and Alison (Kris); his great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Geoffrey, Beric, Rowan, Gareth, Shaughnessy, Hunter, Christopher and Jenna. Pre-deceased by sister Antoinette. "Where you go our hearts will follow after." Len lived a long and rich life. The love he and his darling Rose shared was truly inspiring. We will miss most his gentle presence, his smile, his stories and jokes, and the twinkle in his eye. Len and Rose lived on their cherished "Hidden Valley Farm" just north of Newmarket from 1962 until 1982. They then traveled, until finally settling in Nanaimo, B.C. in 1984. Len s ashes are interred at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar, B.C. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or your favourite wilderness conservation charity. Goodnight Sweetheart.
