Suddenly, on Wednesday, February 21, 2001 in Hawaii, in his 75th year. David Forsyth, of Toronto and Saltspring Island, dearly loved husband of Nancy and the late Jean Forsyth. Loving father of Susan, Amanda, Diana, Pamela, Gillian, Debi and their spouses. Devoted grandfather of Stuart, Neal, Graham, Alice, Evan, Dean, Jay, Remington, Mitchell, Colin, Spencer, Karen and Scott. Loving brother of Ian, Margaret and their spouses. Dear friend of Richard, Mark, Jay and their families. David will be missed dearly by his many nieces and nephews. In fond and loving memory of Winifred, who passed away peacefully in her 99th year on February 28, 2001. Win will be remembered by her family and friends as a feisty English gentlewoman, a remarkable storyteller who loved to relate the familiar legends of her family's growing years. The memory of her infectious laughter and enjoyment of the stories she shared with her family, is a wonderful legacy which her sons, Don and Colin and their wives Jean and Audrey, along with five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren will forever cherish. Predeceased by her husband Harlan and sisters, Marjorie, Sybil and Patricia. Survived by her loving sisters Elizabeth Bell (Windsor) and Gwen Baker and husband Harry (New Hamburg);; nieces and nephews Lynn, Lee, Jeanine, Jadie, Graham and Dale and their families. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Cataraqui cemetery , Kingston, in the spring. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Ontario Humane Society. The Matriarch of the family, "Gran" will be forever remembered as a proud Canadian whose elegance, pride, perseverance and confidence left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Surrounded by her family, Isabel in her 99th year. Resident of Oakville for 99 years. Peacefully passed away on Friday June 22nd, 2001. Beloved and admired wife of the late James R. Black. Daughter of the late James L. and Jeanett Hewson, cherished mother to Elizabeth Lloyd and the late John Black and adored grandmother to Sarah Jean and Gareth James Lloyd, and Sebastian MacLeod. Predeceased by her sisters Marjory Cavan and Jean Hewson. Special thanks to the staff at Trafalgar Lodge and Halton Health Care Center for their dedication and love. Also to Gary, Lori, Jenn and Berit for blessing her last days.
