McCAW, Donald Dool
October 22, 1922 - August 17, 2005

A World War II Veteran, retired for 19 years from Atomic Energy Canada, Chalk River
He is survived by his wife Ruth (nee Haley) and his daughters Catherine McCreary (Bob) of Barrie and Ann Walsh of Ottawa; his grandchildren Jennifer and Julie McCreary and Patrick and Emily Walsh; his brother Ian (Joan) of North Augusta, and his sisters-in-law Helen McCaw of Brockville and Margaret Haley Fenderson (David) of Portland, Maine. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Catherine (Dool) of Kilmarnock and his brother Allen of Brockville, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Arthur and Marion (Haley) Lorimer of Brockville. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. There was a reception to celebrate Don's life at the Valley Funeral Home on Sunday, August 21, from 2-4. In memoriam donations to the North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre, Deep River or the Deep River and District Hospital would be gratefully appreciated.

REID, John Kenneth

At North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre, Deep River on Tuesday, August 16, 2005. Ken Reid age 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Helena Reid. Loving father of Ken Reid of Deep River. Cherished grandfather of Scott Reid and his wife Barbara of Roslin, Shawn Reid and his wife Michelle of Brockville, Heather Benson and her husband Keith of Deep River, Glenn Reid and his wife Lynda and Ken Reid and his wife Janet all of Kingston. Also, survived by daughter-in-law Shirley Reid of Kingston. Cherished grandfather of ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. By request there will be no visitation. Cremation. Cherished grandmother of Sandra Griffiths, Shawna Brown, Kira and Kurtis Van Den Hazel-Brown and Daniel and James Manicom. Also survived by a son-in-law, Richard Manicom of Ottawa. Dear sister of Nellie Bullman of England and Jessie Emanuelson of Pittsberg, Pennsylvannia. Predeceased by a daughter Penny Manicom and a brother, George Chainey. KILBRIDE, Patricia

At the North Bay General Hospital on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the age of 74 years. Patricia (nee Gleason), was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Watt, who predeceased her in 1959. Dearly loved mother of Gail Geddes-Bell (Donald) of North Bay, Laurie Inglis (Dennis) of Toronto and Robert Watt of Vancouver. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Erin Inglis, Caitlin and Paige Bell and Brooklyn and Bronson Watt. Pat was predeceased by her infant son David, infant grandchildren Elizabeth and James Geddes, and her parents the late William and Nora Gleason. She is also survived by her brother Jim Gleason (Anne-Marie) of Deep River. A teacher by profession, Pat taught for the Near North District School Board for 37 years, retiring from Centennial Public School in 1992. Friends called at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Sunday , July 31,2005. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life was held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 1, 2005. If desired, donations to the Weekend to End Breast Cancer Benefiting Princess Margaret Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

PARR, Mabel Geraldine

Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Monday, August 15, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Mabel Parr (nee Fraser), wife of the late William "Bill" Parr. Daughter of the late Robert and Teena Fraser (nee Raymond). Sister of the late Winnifred Brogan, Margaret Reinberg, Ralph, Eric, Kenneth, Joseph, Douglas and Emmett Fraser. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Sheila Fraser and Helen Fraser. Special aunt to Karen Peplinskie and her family, and many other nieces and nephews. Mabel worked for many years at J. Deacon Taylor Jewellers, Pembroke; and Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Chalk River. Rested at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Wednesday from 10 to 11 am. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by cremation and interment in Wesley United cemetery. SEBASTIEN, Camile Joseph

July 14, 1918 - October 17, 2005 - Resident of the Veterans Wing at Parkwood Hospital - London, Ontario for the past 5 1/2 years. Formerly of Deep River, retired for 25 years from Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Chalk River. Veteran of World War II - Flying Officer in the R.C.A.F. from 1939-1945, died peacefully on October 17, 2005. He is survived by his wife Helen of London, his son Bob Sebastien (Dawn) of Ottawa his daughter Lynn Sebastien (Sandy) of London. Also by his sister-in-law Kathleen Chater of Toronto and her children Kimberly, Bob, Nancy (John), Susan (Brian) and their families; his brother-in-law Fred Milne (Sheila) of Toronto; and 6 nephews - Jean Guy, Rene, Raymond, Michael, Dennis and Mark Boivin. Predeceased by his parents Anna and Adelard Sebastien of Timmins, his brother Fernand of Timmins, his sister Cecile MacDonald of Hamilton, his sister and brother-in-law Francois and Gilbert Boivin of Timmins. A private service is to be held at the Chapel in Parkwood Hospital followed by cremation.

CAMPBELL, Ruby Constance

After facing the challenges of cancer with courage, humour and dignity, Ruby Constance Campbell passed away peacefully at the Deep River and District Hospital on her birthday, October 11, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Ken Feast and the late Hugh Campbell. Dear fiancee of Jim Print. Devoted mother of Judy MacDonald (Feast) and cherished grandmother of Matthew MacDonald. Loving sister of Peggy, brother Keith Lee and predeceased by brother John Lee. She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. A Memorial Gathering and Celebration of Ruby's Life will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 11 a.m. at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River. Cremation. Reception to follow at the Valley Funeral Home, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary of which Ruby was a member for more than 40 years.
