Gladding - At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Sunday, September 29. 2002. Mrs. June (Tyrrell) Gladding of St. Thomas, beloved wife of Horace Gladding, in her 80th year. Born in Brantford, Ontario, March 25, 1923, daughter of the late Roy and May (Evans) Tyrrell. Mrs. Gladding was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, St. Thomas and a former member of the St. Thomas Curling Club. Dearly loved mother of Jane Kelly and her husband Ross of Aylmer, Lynne Catterson and her husband Peter of Windsor and Kathy Gladding of Stouffville. Cherished grandmother of Sean and Trevor Kelly, Katie and Peter Catterson. Dear sister of Doremy French of London and Jack Tyrrell and his wife Shirley of Elie, MB. Also survived by in-laws, Fred and Alice Gladding of St. Thomas and Audrey and Ted Barber of London and by several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Hepburn - At St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, September 30, 2002. Muriel Hepburn of Aylmer in her 81st year. Brother of Ken Hepburn, sister-in-law of Gladys Hepburn and aunt of Gary Hepburn all of St. Thomas. Predeceased by a sister Hazel Jacklin and a brother Charles Hepburn. Born in Yarmouth Township Ontario on Dec. 30, 1921 daughter of the late William Albert and Elsie Pearl (Carrothers) Hepburn. Murial was a lifelong resident of the Aylmer Area and enjoyed playing cards. The funeral service will be held from the H. A. Lankin - Peacefully, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, September 29, 2002. Samuel C. Lankin of St. Thomas, husband of Mrs. Barbara (MacKenzie) Lankin, in his 87th year. Born in St. Thomas, April 6, 1916, son of the late Charles Edward Lankin and late Lillian (Hicks) Lankin. Mr. Lankin was a retired master electrician with Wilson & Somerville Ltd. A member of St. Thomas Lodge #76. I.O.O. F. and a member of London I.B.E.W. Local 120. During the Second World War, he served in Canada with the Canadian Army. Father of Daniel Lankin and his wife Susanne of Wheaton, IL and grandfather of Bethany Lankin of Chicago, IL. Brother of Mrs. Margaret McKenzie of St. Thomas, late Mrs. Mary Ramsay, late William Lankin and late Roy Lankin. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Upstone - Donald of St. Thomas, peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, on Saturday, September 28, 2002, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Helen Upstone and loving father to David and Carole Upstone, Robert Upstone, the late Raymond Upstone, the late Sandra Upstone Walsh, Brenda and Mike Trapp, Donna Upstone and Carol Upstone. Loving grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don will be fondly remembered by many friends and relatives in St. Thomas and Montreal. He was retired from Bell Canada. Webber - Theo of Elgin Manor on Sunday, September 29, 2002, at his late residence, in his 83rd year. He was born in Vienna, Ont. on May 10, 1920, the son of the late Harry and Nellie (Light) Webber. Beloved husband of the late Edith Mary (Sharpe) Webber (2000) and dearly loved father of Patricia and her husband Wayne Jollymore of Union and Alvin “Ike” and his wife Isa Webber of St. Thomas. Dear brother of Mary Zavitz of Aylmer, Violet Beckett of Woodstock, Ruby DeBuck of St. Thomas, Rose Sherk of Valleyview, Alberta and the late Leo, Reg, Murray and George Webber. Loved grandfather of Kathy Webber of London and Monica McEown of R.R. 1 Union and great grandfather of Brett McEown. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Theo worked at the Erie Iron Works over 24 years and farmed in Sparta. He served on the County of Elgin Council over 9 years and was Deputy Reeve.
