Stewart - Jean V. on Oct. 26, 02 in her 90th year at her home Willow Pond Farm near Udora with her family. Former resident of Toronto and St. Thomas, Ontario. Predeceased by parents J.C. and Winifred Donaldson, brother Robert, and husbands Lou Summers, Art Innes and Norman Stewart and stepson Dale Stewart. Survived by and sadly missed by her cat Spatz, daughter Caroline Matthew (John) of Udora, Grandchildren Stephen Matthew (Carrie), Patrick Stewart (Andrea) and Melanie Burch (Dean), Great Grandsons Bryan and Sean, Liam and Owen and 6 month old Matthew, as well as nieces and nephews in Ontario and Western Canada. Special thanks to Drs. Cathy Chapman, Kathleen Luscott, Caroline Giroday and John Low of Low & Low Funeral Home. Also special thanks to Durham Access to Care and Paramed, especially Jessie who is the kindest angel of all. Jessie, Mom loved you and your sense of humor and we will never forget your compassion and gentle caring hands during Mom's last days. We’re also grateful for the kind and excellent support o ambulance paramedics and staff at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital over the years, and our appreciation and thanks to our good friend and neighbor Sharon Bognar who is always here when we need her. Mom has requested cremation and no formal funeral. A Memorial Service is planned for June 2003 at the AMORC lodge in Toronto of which Mom was a member for so many years. Mom and Grandma, you were well loved and we miss you so much, but know you’re finally free from pain and suffering and that you’ll watch over us from your new home. We hope you’ll have a new cat friend (maybe Tabby ?) to keep you company. Tingley - Gene (Dorothy) in her 78th year passed away peacefully in her sleep at Waverley Mansion on Wednesday October 30, 2002. Beloved wife of Merle “Ting” Tingley for 50 years. Mother of Graham and his wife Sheila, Cameron and his wife Laurel. Much loved grandmother to Hayden. Special friend Jill Wilcox and her husband Tom Bogart and their children Alex and Lauchlin. Also survived by sister Loie White and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Cameron and sister Margaret. The family will receive friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London for a Memorial Service on Sunday November 3, 2002 at 2 pm with one hour visitation prior to service. Harris - At the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, October 31, 2002. Mrs. Wilhelmine (Trigger) Harris of St. Thomas, wife of the late Grant M. “Peg” Harris (1986), in her 92nd year. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Mar. 27, 1911, daughter of the late William and Sarah Ann (Chapman) Trigger. Mrs. Harris was a member of the St. Thomas Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a 50 year member of Edna Rebekah Lodge #14, St. Thomas. Mother of Douglas G. Harris and his wife Jennifer of Sarnia, J. Blake Harris of London and the late Jerrold Harris. Sister of Mrs. June Williams of St. Thomas. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Maxine Merritt and 3 brothers, James, William and Roy Trigger. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas. Dear mother of MacKenzie and his wife Anita of London. Loving grandmother to Chuck, Kathy, Aaron and Sarah. Proud great-grandmother to Emilee, Brandon, Brittany and Kaitlyn. Wye - Margaret Ann Wye-Holditch in her 63rd year passed away quietly on Thursday, October 31, 2002 at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Continuing Care Centre with her family by her side, after a short battle with Cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband Bill Wye of Lyons. Daughter of Teresa, son-in-law Ed, granddaughters Jessica and Tonya Langford. Daughter Michelle , son-in-law Pat, grandson Brendan, step grandchildren Tim and Kayla Costello. All Ingersoll residents. She is also survived by her parents Evelyn and Douane Holditch of Copenhagen. Sister Muriel Jones of Milton Florida, brother Donald and wife Carol Holditch also of Copenhagen. Foster brother Frank Wallace and friend Barb of St. Thomas. Sister-in-law Marg and Mike Pardy, sister-in-law Gloria and Dave Rouiston, brother-in-law Gary Wye, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Mabel and Bill Wye Senior and brother-in-law Jim Wye. Born in Malahide Township on September 18, 1939. Margaret Ann attended East Elgin Secondary School. She lived at Crampton for 38 years and worked at Coyle and Greer Awards in Putnum. Visitation will be held at Kebbel Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Aylmer cemetery. In remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
