Breton, Thérèse Suzanne

Suzanne nous a quitté le 11 février 2005 à l’âge de 56 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Edgar Breton et de feu Éva Béatrice Cossette. Prédécédée par son frère Daniel (Micheline Ducharme), elle laisse dans le deuil son frère Jean-Pierre (Monique Francoeur) ainsi que de très nombreux amis des résidences Ottawa 2 et Ottawa 5 de Christian Horizon ainsi que ses neveux et nièces : Lynne, Chantal, Marc, Sylvie et Luc. Les visites auront lieu au salon funéraire Héritage, 2871, boul. St-Joseph, Orléans, le mardi 15 février 2005 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Schott, Dale Garnett LCol OMM, CD

Died suddenly on Thursday, 19th of May, 2005 at the Ottawa General Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 65 with his family at his side. Dale is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Steven, Darcy and step-son Peter Thomson. Much loved grandfather of Leanne, Megan and Ella. Son of Doreen and Jack Schott and brother of Yvette Juhasz, Sally Plant, Pat Redmond, and Bob Schott. Dale joined the Royal Canadian Artillery as Soldier Apprentice in Shilo, Manitoba in 1955. He was commissioned and served in many Regiments and appointments as a junior officer and saw service in Shilo, Petawawa, Gagetown, Edmonton and Germany. As a senior officer he served as a peace keeper with the United Nations in Cyprus, and Kashmir. He also represented Canada in other capacities in many countries such as: Norway, Australia, and the United States. Dale completed his military service in Ottawa. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit for outstanding service on the 15th of June 1981. Upon retirement he served in a senior capacity at the Headquarters of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home at 2871 St Joseph Blvd, Orleans on Monday the 23rd of May from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday the 24th of May at 2 P.M to be followed by a reception at the funeral home. Brother of Jeanne Proulx (the late Ovide), the late Paul (the late Gilberte Chartrand), Thérèse Landriault (the late Joseph) and Marcel (Violette Paquette). Brother-in-law of the late Eliane (the late Armand Couture), the late Roland (Cécile Gareau), the late Louis (Thérèse Carisse), the late Paul (Yvette Cardinal), the late Adrien (the late Antonine Robertson), the late William (the late Liliane Carrière), Maurice (Juliette Parisien), the late Jules (Aline Robertson), Hervé (Anne-Marie Séguin), Madeleine (the late Fernand Mongeon), the late Gertrude, Monique (the late Gérard Desjardins), Paulette (the late Jean Parisien). Uncle of many nephews and nieces. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Laura and Sarah Turgeon, Sonya Bousfield, Julie and Michèle Lalonde, Patrik et Daniel Racine, Chris and Phil Humeniuk and his great-grandchildren William and Alexis Bousfield. Dear brother of Jean-Paul Turgeon (Jeannine Maisonneuve) of St. Constant and Hélène Turgeon of Ottawa. Survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Claude Girouard (Cécile Farley), Carmen Bergeron (Jean-Guy Taillefer), Lise Tremblay (Jacques), Marcelle Girouard (Jean-Marie Lemay) et Denis Girouard and by many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and brother Knights. Predeceased by his parents Omer Turgeon and Yvonne Charbonneau and his brother Richard (Rita Quesnel). The family would like to thank Dr. Dervish of the Montfort Hospital, Dr. P. L’Heureux and the teams of Dr. Bodurtha, Dr. Kim, Dr. Faithful-Smith and Dr. Seely for their devotion. Also survived by his sisters Denise (Gérald Myre), Jeannine, Fleurette (Bernard Raby), Lina (André Foley) and Suzanne (Gerry Court) ; mother-in-law Jeanne Schnupp (the late Paul Emile Schnupp) ; sister-in-law Lise Schnupp and brother-in-law Jean-Marie Lemay (the late Huguette Schnupp). He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A most remarkable woman who passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2005 with her children at her side. Beloved wife of the late Jan Sokolowski. She will be sadly missed by her children Christine (Douglas) Harvey and Robert (Theresa) Sokolowski ; her grandsons Andrew Harvey, Robert, Jonathan and Stephen Sokolowski and her great-grandsons Damian and Joseph Harvey. Her sense of humour, love of gardening and the outdoors and her joy of cooking for everyone will always be remembered. We would like to thank Blackburn Lodge Seniors Residence and all the staff for their support, going beyond their duties during her stay . At the St. Joseph Manor in Orléans, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, April 24th at the age of 75. Stella Finningan (nee Clermont) wife of the late Gordon Finnigan. Beloved mother of Gordon Finnigan Jr. (Odette), Diane Langill (Ronald), the late Debbie Rainey and the late Brian Chabot. Dear sister of Rita Sauvé (Ben), Raymond and Roy Clermont. Predeceased by her sister Reina Major and her brother Roger Clermont. Cherished grandmother of David Finnigan, Gregg Langill, Kelly Finnigan, Jessica Rainey and great grandmother of Blake Finnigan. Stella is also survived by many nephews, nieces (especially Suzanne) and friends. Forde, Francis Patrick (Frank)

Peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2005. Born on March 2, 1924 in Bluebell, Dublin, Ireland. Son of the late Francis Forde and the late Mary Ellen McGibney of Ireland. Sadly missed by his best friend and wife Maria Augusta Soto Lescale, his children Patrick Michael and Catherine Ann and grandchildren Maya, Alannah and Jason. Predeceased by his daughter Julie, his brothers, sisters and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Eileen, Margaret Mary, Nancy, Val and Pattie, Christy, all of Dublin, Ireland. Survived by his brothers and their wives, Dan and Kitty, Gerard and Doreen, Patrick and Joan, Eddie and Vera and sister-in-law Ellen. Respected and much loved by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews in Canada, Ireland and Mexico. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and OMI community and cherished in memory. Frank received his education in Belcamp, Co. Dublin, University College Dublin and successfully completed his Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Ottawa. Arriving in Canada in 1967, he was invited to join the staff of the then School of Psychology of the University of Ottawa to train doctorate students in Counselling. He joined the Civil Service where he continued assisting people with counselling and direction. He was proud to have been part of the Roman Catholic Marriage Tribunal, for many years, where he was considered an “expert” regarding marriage issues and judgements in Canon Law. Relatives and friends may attend a funeral ceremony in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 12 p.m. Visitation will follow from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. for condolences. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Frank’s life for family and friends, will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at St. Paul’s Seminary, 249 Main Street, Ottawa. Timing and details for this will follow. Dear Pepère of John Szabo (LouAnn), Joanne Szabo, Susan Heffern (Reg), Christine Banyard (Jamie), Roxanne Paul (Joey) and Jullie-Ann Godard.
