Dollard Joseph Arthur, ptr. passed away suddenly at home on December 3, 2004 at the age of 74. A teacher and parish priest, Dollard leaves behind a sister, Réjeanne DesRosiers, two sisters-in-law, Anita (Gagné) and Carmelle (Grenier) DesRosiers and his nieces and nephews: Lise (Bill), Michel (Sandra), Diane, Carole (Arley), Suzanne (Richard), Lucie (Larry), Sylvie (André), and Luc. Predeceased by his parents Léonidas and Jeanne (nee Marion) DesRosiers, and his siblings Val, Hector and Lilianne DesRosiers. At St.Vincent’s Hospital on Thursday, February 10, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved spouse of Ken Ward, daughter of Daniel McNeil and the late Doreen (nee Bell), sister of Sharon, Brenda and Anne Marie McNeil, and best friend to Catherine Postma. Sandra had a fondness for animals, canoeing, camping, curling and ballet dancing. She was an active member of the Miniature Enthusiasts of Ottawa for over 20 years. She also enjoyed aerobics and fitness activities. Sandra worked 31 years in the Federal Government, most recently with Industry Canada. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing at the Ottawa Hospital of this kind hearted man whose generosity was without equals on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the age of 77 years. Roger was the beloved husband of Alice (née Beauchemin), whom he loved with a profound devotion. In the span of his busy life, Roger founded the 31st Troup of Orléans, was a member of Cursillo, Knights of Columbus, Marriage Encounter and Vie Montante as well as many other organizations. He was also employed for many years at the Montfort Hospital and later at the General Hospital of Ottawa as a nurse, Human Resources and finally with Pastoral Care. Ordained as a permanent Deacon in 1989 at St-Joseph Parish of Orléans, he primarily focused, with his Christian faith and compassion, on Pastoral of the sick. Son of the late Juliette Lauzon and the late Adrien Brunet. Predeceased by his brother Jean-Guy Brunet (Thérèse). He is survived by his sisters: Jacqueline Brunet (Ronald Gratton) and Bernadette Huneault (Al) ; his brother-in-law Gérard (Cécile) Beauchemin, his children : Jean-Pierre Brunet (Natalie), Lise (Roy) Davis, Sylvie (Yvon) Lapierre and René (Angela) Brunet ; his 14 grandchildren : Derrick, Natasha, Jean-Yves, Kevin, Nicolas, Véronique, Samuel, Marie-Sara, Benjamin, Andrée-Anne, Alexandra, Marie-Pier, Christian et Alexandre, as well as 5 great-grandchildren, aunts and many nephews, nieces and friends.
