passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 63. Dear husband of Hélène Giroux (nee Proulx). Loving father of: Henri Jr, Pierre (Connie Bennett), Christine, Roger, Denis (Linda) and Daniel (Carolanne Schingh). Cherished grandfather of : Brianna, Dylan, Nicholas, Sheridan, Philippe, Shawn, Justin, Jennefer, Guillaume, Marco, Stéphane, Alexandre, Jessica, Annabelle and Marie-Soleil. He is survived by 5 brothers, 3 sisters as well by many nephews, nieces cousins, and friends. Il laisse dans le deuil ses six enfants: Guylaine (Michel Séguin), Ghislain (Aline Denis), Johanne (Raymond Godard), Yanick (Annie-Claude Mireault), Stéphane, Cédric (Julie Bossé), et ses petits-enfants (Jonathan, Jean-Sébastien, Claudia, Myriam, Dominic, Jason et Jennie) et ainsi que les membres des familles Ouellet et Pelletier. Baldwin, Hugh

After a courageous battle with cancer, Hugh passed away at home on Feb. 21 at the side of his loving wife Colette Côté, his daughter Julie and her husband Ryan, his son Michael and his fiancé Stéphanie, and his youngest son Robert. Dearly loved son of the late Daly Baldwin, he is survived by his mother Marie (Dowling), his brothers Delbert, Karl, Gary, James, Ronald, and sister Barbara (Hogan), and his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and very good friends. Hugh will be immensely missed by his many family and friends, and remembered for the selfless way he lived his life and for the continuous support and love he provided to those around him. The family would like to thank the Bayshore Home Health Services, especially Isabelle Charlebois and Dr. Louise Coulombe. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be follow at Sainte-Marie Church, 4831 Innes Rd., Orleans at 11 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre. Époux de feu Gilberte Charbonneau, il laisse dans le deuil ses 2 fils, François (Huguette Biage-Major) de Brossard et Hubert (Marguerite Jackson) de Gatineau; ses 6 petits-enfants : Philippe, Étienne, Antoine, Julie, Simon et Colette; ses 3 arrière-petits-enfants : Jean-David, Émile et Jasmine; ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis. La famille recevra parents et amis au salon funéraire Héritage, 2871, boul. St-Joseph, Orléans, le 16 février de 9h30 à 11h30. Le service religieux suivra à 12h, en l’église Sacré-Cœur, 591, rue Cumberland (angle Laurier et Cumberland), Ottawa. Une réception après la cérémonie aura lieu à l’église Sacré-Cœur. L’inhumation aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Loving father of Thuy Hai Nguyen and husband Tuan Tonthat, and Minh Hai Nguyen. Dear son of Mrs. Tru Hai Nguyen. Dear brother of Au Hai Nguyen (Emma), Bang Hai Nguyen (Dung), Chau Hai Nguyen (Nguyen), Viet Hai Nguyen (Lieu), and Tan Hai Nguyen (Lam). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: François Séguin (Michelle), Julie Gauthier, Lynne Godbout (Alain) and her great-grandchildren: Patrick and Nicholas. She will as well be missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her five brothers and two sisters. Courageously passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the age of 28 years. Christopher will forever be loved and remembered by his mother Murielle Arsenault (Morin) of Orléans, ON, his father Ivan Arsenault of Prince George, BC, his sister Wendy Arsenault (Solomon Aragones) of Calgary, AB and his two dogs Trish and Zoe. Christopher recently graduated from two technical programs at the Ottawa Cite Collegiale (Plumbing, 2006 and Heating Cooling and Refrigeration Techniques, 2007) He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sincere thanks to Dr. Gertler, Dr. Malone, Dr. Drudge and in particular, Dr. Seely, Kathleen Green and Linda duRocher for their care and compassion. passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 42. Predeceased by his father Fernand Robert and his two sisters, Hélène and Anne. Dear son of Rollande Racette, brother of Richard (Hélène Boudreault) and Claude, uncle to Anne-Catherine and Kevin. He will sadly be missed by many uncles, aunts and cousins. The family would like to thank Dr. Sylvie Brulé for being a guardian angel during these difficult times. Thank you also to Claudette Fournier, a good friend of the family, for her support. Passed peacefully, on January 23, 2008, surrounded by family and friends, at the Ottawa General after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of Mark and devoted mother to Brendan and Kyra. Predeceased by both parents (Alice and Ralph). She will be sadly missed by her siblings Pam (Allan), Brad, Leslie (J.F.) and Grant (Darcine). Beloved daughter-in-law of Ron and Una O’Shaughnessy, sister-in-law of Aileen (Jason). She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Elle laisse également ses frères : Roma (Joanne) et Yves, c.s.v.; ses belles-sœurs : Aline, Laurette, Rita, Rolande et Anita; son beau-frère Jérôme, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Elle œuvra toute sa vie dans le domaine de l’enseignement. Elle fut appréciée par de nombreux collègues et élèves, de par sa sagesse et son dévouement. passed away suddenly, while curling with friends, Monday, January 14, 2008 at the age of 72. Rudy is survived by his loving wife Gisela MacInnis; his three children Jim (Claudine), Pamela (Brian Watkins) and Sandra (Denis Léonard). He was also very proud of his eight grandchildren; Jennifer, Andrew, Michael, John, Jacob, Mina, Tommy and Mathew. He will be missed by his siblings; Alf (Shirley), Marion Warren and Ned (Norma). It is with great sadness that Yves Gratton and Lynn Gratton-Duarte announce the sudden passing of their beloved father, Leo Gratton, at his home on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Leo worked hard at building his dream, his newly built “Hacienda del Sol”. He has now joined his father Philippe at his hacienda in heaven. He will also be sadly missed by his two grandchildren, Tara-Lynn Duarte and Josh Edward Duarte. He is survived by his mother Valéda Gratton (née Charlebois), his siblings Hélène Lacombe (Rémi), Raynald Gratton (Murielle) and Hubert Gratton (Ginette) who was also his fishing and hunting buddy, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Yves and Lynn would like to thank Réjean Juneau and his wife Carole and Daniel Florent for all their help and most importantly, their friendship. Funeral arrangements will be made at a future date.
