Lola Hunter 1915-2002 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 aged 87, predeceaced by her loving husband Stanley E. J. Hunter (1995). Deeply cherished and forever loved by her children Randall Hunter, Sharron Hanna, Sharalyn Hunter, by her grandchildren Kimberley and Jeffrey Hunter, Malcolm Jean, Jocelyn and Shawndelle Hanna, Kelly Eastlake, by her great grandchildren Taylor and Liam Thompson and Jairus Eastlake Keller. Held in loving memory by Mary Hunter, John Hanna, Sylvia Lin, Carol Weston, Scott Thompson and Sherri Keller. With sadness, the family of Mercy Fern King announces her death on Friday, December 13, 2002, in Ottawa, at the age of 92. Fern was a faithful wife for more than forty years to the late Alfred King, of Grimsby, Ontario, a devoted mother to Cynthia, of Ottawa, and beloved Nana to Boyd Thomson of Vancouver and Pamela Thomson of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her sisters, Iris Hodgson and Daisy Robinson, of Toronto, and her brother, John Robinson, of Pasadena, California. At Fern's request, there will be no visitation or service. Devoted father of Jeff (Vicki Wilson) and Nathan (Milaine Leduc). Pround and adoring grandpa of Ty. Will also be sadly missed by his sister Janet and her children Nicholas and Natasha Zakus, his sister Lee-Ann, all of Vancouver, B.C., and his sister Lorraine (Dennis Waslenchuck) of Connecticut, U.S.A. Reg will be sorely missed by many friends and co-workers. He retired from Bell Canada in 1999 after an 18-year career. He was currently Senior V.P. of Branch Venture Capital Services. Reg volunteered for many years with minor sports and was a Past President of the Pinecrest Hockey League. His favorite pastimes included fishing at the cottage, golfing and playing with his new grandson. passed away peacefully at The Glebe Centre in Ottawa on December 7, 2002 at the age of 93 years. Virginia is survived by her children David McDonald of Ottawa and Mary (Jeffrey) Chandor of Oldwick, New Jersey, as well as her grandchildren Heather Jean Chandor and Jeffrey McDonald Chandor. She was also the beloved aunt of Joanne Pelletier-Mattingly of London, Ontario. Virginia is also survived by her brother Donald H. Pelletier of Toronto and her very special friend Gail Pickwick of Ottawa. She is predeceaced by her husband David S.D. McDonald. Virginia was a graduate of the Toronto General School of Nursing, Class of 1931. A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry 315 McLeod Street on Thursday, December 12th at 10 o'clock a.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Glebe Centre Building Fund.
