Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus on Thursday, October 2,2003 at the age of 74. Dearly beloved husband of Leonida (nee Olivar). Dear father of Mario(Lucy), Flora(Larry), Rosanna, Ria Nimfa(Roger), Carmen(Gerry),Jay-R (Krisna) and their special adopted daughter Zeny. Also loved by his 8 grandchildren Michael, Louie, Lawrence, Carl, Jennifer, Ronilea, Rosemarie and Justin. He will be sadly by his brothers and sisters in the U.S. and in the Phillipines. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5,2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. the Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 179 Murray Street (Murray at St. Patrick), Ottawa, on Monday, October 6, 2003 at 11a.m. Interment Beechwood cemetery.

He also leaves behind Alice’s children; Cécile Cousineau, Gerry Cousineau (Micheline Morin), Claire St-Pierre (the late Gaston St-Pierre), Fernand Cousineau and Jocelyne Cousineau. Adored grandfather of Zacharie, Tristan, Lyne, Sylvie, Richard, Denis, suzanne, Guy, Carole, Annabella, Madelena, Katia and the late Robert and also his 6 great-grandchildrens. Henri will be missed by parents and many friends. The family of Sybil Lacey (nee Bowes-Lyon) born in Marylebone, London, England on February 18th, 1918 announces with deep sadness her passing on September 23rd, 2003. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She met her passing with the same strength and dignity as she lived her life. She will be sadly missed by her beloved son Paul and daughter in-law Guylaine in the USA; grandchild Jessika and her husband Greg Artichuk; great granddaughter Emma Grace Artichuk and sister June Durant in Canada; by her beloved daughter Wendy, daughter in-law Sylvia, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren in England; and by her sister Biddy and her husband Ken Wilson in Spain; and by her very special friend and love, Frank Brady. Predeceased by son Peter and brother Tony. Sybil (mum) will always be remembered for her kindness and loving heart and quiet intelligence. The family wishes to thank the kind and compassionate staff at Camilla Gardens for their kindness and extraordinary care. Retired Supervisor OC Transpo Courageously at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, September 27, 2003, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Barbara Louisa (nee Robertson) of Cobden. Loving father of Diane Seguin (Denis), June Wilkes, and Joan Kerwin (Bruce), all of Ottawa. Predeceased by baby daughter Deborah Louise and loving son Donald John. Poppy will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Amanda, Krystal Lee, Emily, Deborah and Victoria. Survived by brother Jack Wilkes (Flo) of Stittsville and sister Barbara Reichard (Fred) of Burnaby, B.C. A Memorial service will be held in Don's honour at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 2pm. "Mr. Constantine" Peacefully, in his 97th year, at the Peter D. Clark Centre, Ottawa on Wednesday, November 26th, 2003. Predeceased in 1987 by his wife of 56 years, the former Christina Lambros; and by his brothers and sisters. He was the beloved father of 3 daugthers, Maria (Tasso Karkazis) of Folsom, California, Helen (James O'Grady) of Ottawa and Ariadne (Howard Gribble) of White Rock, B.C. Costica was born in Yassi, Romania on March 17th, 1906, and lived in Constantinople, New York and Montreal before coming to Ottawa in 1950. He was the proprietor of Constantine's Pastry in Ottawa until 1964 when he relocated to California to own a new business, McGavin's Bakery, in Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto, until 1978. An expert pastry maker and confectioner, his artistic creations were greatly admired by many patrons in both locations. In Ottawa, he was a long time member and President of AHEPA, the men's organization of the Greek Orthodox Church. He leaves a legacy of 10 loving grandchildren, Christine Moll, George Karkazis, Patsy Nunes and Stacy Trossen, all of California; James O'Grady of Toronto; Tammi Mantle of Toronto, Michael Oades of Thunder Bay and Christine Oades of Vancouver; Anita and Hayley Gribble of England and 18 great-grandchildren.
