Harry Ashley McNaughton
July 23,1918- November 26, 2006 W.W.11 Veteran Of natural causes at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre comfortably with compassionate care from all the staff on Rideau One North, including the recreation staff whose friendship and activities provided so many happy times. On his return from overseas, Harry worked in fuel oil sales for several local companies. He was an active curler out of The Granites; played golf at Chaudiere and skied at Camp Fortune. He was an active member of Kingsway United Church and a volunteer to several community organizations. Harry goes to meet his father and mother, Ebenezer and Annie Christine; his three older brothers Donald, Eb and Millan. He leaves his loving wife of 47 years Marjorie Hill; his younger brothers Wesley (Joyce), Roy (Madeline) and three generations of caring nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 12 noon until service in the chapel at 1p.m. Interment Maxville Protestant cemetery. The Micali and Magureanu families regretfully announce the death of Dr. Radu Micali on the 28th of November, 2006. He leaves behind his wife Oana, daughter Cristina, son-in-law Raffi, grandson Luca, brother-in-law Dragos and his many friends whose lives he touched. Darling sister of Nathan (deceased) and Esther Genser Kaplan of Palm Springs. Devoted mother of Reesa, Lorne and Stephen. Step-mother of Kenneth Mirsky and Cayla (Mirsky) Baylin. Mother-in-law of Jocelyne and Esther Greenberg, Linda Mirsky and Michael Baylin. Proud grandmother of Lee Michael, Jessica, Emma; Joshua, Zoe and Danny; Laurie, Ross, Gary (Johanne); Maxwell, Gregory (Chris) and Lisa. Patricia Ann ( nee Joyce ) Sagar - 12/10/2006
Patricia passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 7 after 55 years of joyous life. She was the loving wife and best friend of Peter, and was dedicated to her beloved children, Heather and Stephen. She was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Maddie Joyce, and will be greatly missed by her sisters Maureen (Amin) of Toronto and Nuala (Bond) of Ottawa, and brother Michael (Joyce) of Chicago, as well as by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Patricia dedicated herself to her family and to her professional career, which included time at National Revenue, Industry Canada, the Trade Negotiation Office, Finance Canada, and Canada=s Mission to the World Trade Organization. Patricia passed her last 8 years living life to the full and raising her family, despite ovarian cancer. She succeeded due to her personal strength, love of life, and with the love of her family and friends. And of course, we must thank the many dedicated doctors, nurses and others at the Hôpital de la Tour in Geneva, and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre. A special thanks must go to Dr. Claudius Irle of Geneva, Dr Fung Kee Fung and his team at the ORCC, and especially the superb, caring team of the Gynecological Oncology Unit at the Civic Hospital, including Kelly Ann, Jacinthe, Brenda and everyone else. Special thanks go to Dr. Coulombe and Nurse Joan Anne Walker for their help on Thursday. A service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, followed by a reception. Patricia believed strongly in helping others and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or Ovarian Cancer Canada would be appreciated and be a lasting memorial.
