Albert Mark (Bert) Tippins - 12/10/2006

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bert on December 9, 2006 after a short intense battle with cancer. He leaves to join his beloved son Stephen who left us on August 5, 2003. Left behind to mourn and greatly miss him is his loved wife Lois (Cassidy), his very special daughter Sandra (Dean Cullen) and his dear mom-in-law Phyllis Cassidy. He was a very proud Grampa to Jordon and Haley Tippens and Ryan and Megan Cullen. Also missing him for lap comfort is Scamp and “his” Molly. Bert was the son of the late Mark and Marie Tippins and is survived by his brother Frank (Marge). We want to say a sincere thank you to Dr. Therese Hodgson and to all the staff at the Hospice at May Court for their guidance, tender and compassionate care to Bert, Sandra and I through this very difficult journey. At Bert’s request, family and friends will gather on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. for a service at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway).
