Peacefully at home on Monday, March 10, 2008 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Isabel (nee Rondeau). Loving father of Eric, Marlene(Robert Swingle), Dennis(Diana Cameron), Arthur, Diane, and Penny Ann(Richard Cameron). Cherished Opa of Kevin, Tyla(Mike), Jennifer, Martha, Jessica(Kenta), Sara, Andrew, Jason(Sonya), Isabel and Maple. Adored Great Grandfather of Madison and Claire. Dear brother of Oscar(Elva) and Myra(the late Walter Witt). Predeceased by his siblings Garnet and Gertrude. Avid Sportsman , active volunteer and Charter Member of All Saints Lutheran Church. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse,Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Thursday, March 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and on Friday, March 14th from 11am to 12noon. Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, 1061 Pinecrest Roadon Friday, March 14th at 1pm. Interment to take place in Pembroke in the Spring. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated. Dad was ” Always on the run!”

Cherished grandfather of Timothy-David, Magaly and Natasha. Survived by his brother Dave Given of Regina, and will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Saturday March 15 from 11 a.m. until Service time in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow in the McGarry Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre (Palliative Care) would be appreciated by the family.

A graveside service will be held at Baron de Hirsch cemetery , 5015 de la Savane, Montreal, QC on Thursday, March 6th at 3pm. Brother-in-law of Jocelyn Smart, of Thornbury. Son of the late Wilfred and Ann Sibbit of Winnipeg. Special thanks to all staff at St. Vincent Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Harvey Simpson and her son Ronnie (Donna). Beloved mother of Bernie (DeeDee), John and Judy. Loving Grandmother of Brendan and Rachel. Dear sister of Laurie Grace (the late Pat), Darcy Brownrigg and Noreen Brownrigg and predeceased by Emmett (Jeannine) and Carl. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to all her wonderful caregivers at the Glebe Centre. Loving and devoted mother of Brenda and Paul (Cheryl). Predeceased by her parents Alpha and Nellie Bennett and brothers Hartney and Kenneth Bennett. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Kay trained as a registered nurse during WWII in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Eastern U.S.A. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Monday, March 17, 2008 after 11 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in the spring at Torbolton cemetery. Predeceased by his parents Florence (nee Paquette) former resident of Azilda. and Toivo Rikhard Soini formerly of Sudbury. Dearest brother of Allan Soini of Iroquois Falls, Norman Soini of Barrie, Shirley Ann Soini and Linda Soini both of Ottawa. Sadly missed by his very close friend Brendan Stackwood of Casselman and his dear friend of whom he thought of like a brother Amir Bader of Ottawa. He will be fondly remembered by many good friends as a loving, caring and generous man. Loving wife and best friend of Darren Hanna, amazing and adored mother of Gabrielle and Jacob, precious daughter of Lise Poulin and the late André Taillon, sister of Denis Taillon (Cathy), daughter-in-law of Sophie Hanna. Dominique will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by family, friends and colleagues. It is with sorrow, sadness and great faith in the promise of eternal life that Wayne’s family announces his death on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Wayne is the son of Thelma and the late Walter Thomas of Bells Corners. He is the devoted husband of Daphne, his soul-mate for 39 years of marriage. A loving father and mentor to daughter Kim of Ottawa and son Gordon (Loretta) of Cornwall. Proud grandfather of grand-daughter Makenna. Wayne loved God’s people and God’s creation. Ordained a priest in 1976, he served in Ministry with God’s people in the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa. Prior to Ordination, he served in The Anglican Church Army as Social Worker and Chaplain to the Mission to Seaman. During his battle with cancer, Wayne was supported by many people in his extended Christian family. To them, we say thank-you for your love, prayers and practicial support. You indeed have been a blessing to us. Friends and family are invited to visit to share memories and renew friendships at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 760 Somerset Steet, West on Sunday, February 24 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A service of thanksgiving and celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Monday, February 25 at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Anglican Church. Cremation, followed by interment at a later date.
