Richard passed away April 8, 2008 as previously announced. A Joint Funeral Service with Winnifred Coulter will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2 :30 pm, followed by a reception in the McGarry Family Reception Centre. Interment to follow at Johnston's Corners Community cemetery

Winnifred passed away at Ottawa Civic Hospital on June 1, 2008. Recently predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Richard Erskine. Daughter of the late John and Winnifred (nee Mills) Wright of West St. Andrews, NS. Raised by her late Uncle Locke Lively and late Aunt Melinda of Shubenacadie, NS. Mourned by surviving half-sisters Alice Wood of Maple Ridge, BC and Doris Barr of Stellarton, NS. Missed by cousin Helen O'Neil of Truro, NS. Also mourned by niece Patricia Anne Coulter, and nephew William Randall Coulter with his wife Karen and children Ryan and Katelyn, all of Toronto. A Joint Funeral Service for Richard and Winnifred will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2 :30pm, followed by a reception in the McGarry Family Reception Centre. Interment to follow at Johnston's Corners Community cemetery. Donations to St. Giles Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

May 6, 1944 – June 22, 2008 It is with great regret that the family of Gloria announces her passing after a courageous fight with cancer at the age of 64. She was the Whole World to her spouse Mervin Ruttan, beloved daughter of Margaret Miller, older sister to Jane. Cherished mother to Donna-Anne, Ronald, Jennifer and Ian. Nana to Christine, D’Arcy, Caitlind and her newest role in life was great Nana to Garion. Predeceased by her father Douglas Miller and three very important men to her and her family William Duke, Timothy MacKenzie and Steven Ruttan. Gloria will be fondly remembered by Bruce Enkel and Raymond Smethurst the fathers of her children and by all the Ruttan family. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Saturday, June 28th from 9am until service time in the chapel at 10am.

It is with great sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved father and Pépère on Friday June 20, 2008 at the Ogilvie Villa in Gloucester, Ontario in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Marie for 59 years. Loving father of Adèle (Roger), Lucie (Claude), Jean (Colette), Cécile (Michel), Lise (Len), Julie (Michel) and Silvie (Pierre). Cherished grandfather (Pépère) to François, Camil, Richard, Angele, Marc, Tania, Stéphane, Adrien, Christine, Daniel, Luc, Antoine, Jason, Eric, Caroline, Jessica and Nicholas. Adored great-grandpa to Julia, Riley, Gabriel, Sofia, Winston, Eric, Asha, Kara, Shelby and Courtney. Brother of Cécile, Marcel, Rémi, late Jean-Paul, late Thérèse, late Laurier and late André. Gaston will be missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and family may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Tuesday, June 24th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Wednesday, June 25th from 9-10:30 am. The Funeral Mass will be celebrate on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11:00 am at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes-de-Cyrville Parish on 1187 Michael Street, Gloucester, Ontario. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Peacefully Saturday June 21, 2008 at St. Vincent Hospital, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Lois Belland for 50 years. Loving father of Lorraine (Mike Campbell) and Patrick (Jade Mason). Dear Grampa of Hannah Gilbert and Ewan Campbell. Son of the late Jean-Baptiste Joseph Gilbert and Annie Lyons. Brother of Rita Foders. Predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. Sincerest thanks to the staff of St. Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Avation Parkway on Thursday June 26th from 1 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment at Beechwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Paul would be honoured by a donation, in his name, to the Shepherds of Good Hope or to The Mission.

It is with great sadness that Pauline announces Jack's passing on June 6th, 2008, after a year's struggle with Acute Lymphomatic Leukemia (ALL). Jack is survived by his wife, partner and the "love of his life", Pauline. M. Dupont and his "faithful and devoted pooch, Kali", who brought his so much confort till the end. He also leaves his children, John, Nancy, Sue-Ellen and Linda-Ann, and his grandchildren, Declan, Devon, Julia, Sean, Danny, and Asha with whom he shared poker games and the occasional golf lesson. A Memorial Service and gathering of friends will be held on Tuesday, June 17th from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Stonebridge Golf and Country Culb, 68 Hawktree Ridge, off Jockvale Rd. between Prince of Wales and Greenbank. Many thanks to Gail MaCartney, R.N., Dr. John Seely, and Dr. Susan Gick for their care and support throughout this difficult time. Memorial donations may be made in Jack's name to the Canadian Cancer Society (Leukemia Research).

Suddenly, in Kingston, on Saturday, June 14, 2008, age 26 years. Devoted father of Abbigail and loving son of Tom and Michelle Jones of Kanata. Cherished brother of Christina Redmond (Sean), and Lee (Liette). Dear grandson of Bob and Jean Jones of Pembroke, and the late Clare and Marie-Jeanne O’Neill. Loving uncle of Hanna. Scott will be fondly remembered and loved by his family and many friends. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, at Richmond Road, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Woodroffe United Church, 207 Woodroffe Avenue,. on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 1 p.m. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Kingston General Hospital (ICU) for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club.

Her spirit passed on June 19th in her 83rd year. Survived by her daughters Belinda (Ken) and Sylvia (John), and her precious grandchildren Shawn (Daniela) and Jennifer. Ruth was also survived by sisters Jean, Gwen, Evelyn, Jill and brother Ralph, all of the U.K. Special thanks for the kindness and compassion shown by the staff of the Marochel Manor that allowed her last days to be filled with love and dignity.

Friends are invited to attend a Masonic Service at the Ottawa Masonic Centre 2140 Walkley Road June 25th 2008 at 1930 hrs followed by a reception.
