At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PE. Peacefully in her sleep following a short illness at age 103.
Jean was born Jean Margaret Hamilton in Woodstock, NB to William and Laura (nee Brewer) Hamilton. She was educated in Fredericton, NB and in 1936 married Maurice Barnes (Sparky) Lodge of Charlottetown. She and Maurice raised their two sons Graham and Malcolm in Borden, PE and throughout WW2 in British Columbia and Quebec. They moved to Charlottetown in 1967.
Jean was predeceased by Maurice in 2006, younger sister Ray (Wilby) in 1998 and grandson Mark in 2015. She is survived by sons; Graham (Sylvia Klassen), Kingston, ON and Malcolm (Cheryl Currie) Charlottetown, grandchildren; Heather, Cornwall. ON; Cynthia, Victoria, BC; Stephen, St. John’s, NL and Carmen (Vernon MacIntyre), Stratford, PE and four great-grandsons and granddaughters. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered by her nieces Rosalyn and Susan Wilby and nephew Robert Wilby and also by many friends who shared many happy times with she and Maurice at their cottage in Meadowbank, PE. Jean was always there to help, support and encourage all who came to her.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from Trinity United Church at 10 a.m. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be convened at Peoples Cemetery, October. If so desired memorials may be made to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, Trinity United Church or the Upper Room Food Bank. Visiting hours on Tuesday 4 – 7 p.m.
Stanley Cecil Booth

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, September 10, 2015 of Stanley Cecil Booth of Charlottetown and formerly of Montreal, age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Camilia and loving father of Stan Jr. (Colleen), Sharon (Rob) , Sean (Pam) and Sheri. Cherished grandfather to Christine, Robbie, Dustin, Mitchell and Katherine.
A special thank you to Dr. O’Neil and the nursing staff in Unit 3 and 2.
A private family memorial was held in Goose River. Arrangements entrusted to MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel.
Claude S. Bell

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2015 of Claude Bell of Charlottetown, in his 89th year. He will be forever loved by his wife Bernice, who together quietly celebrated their 63 years of marriage on Sunday, September 13 with his nieces Kay and Helen from BC and Linda from NB. He is survived by his brother Tom of Fredericton, NB and special feline friends Dina and Kitty 1. He was predeceased by his sisters Eleanor and Marion and brother Charles.
A graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, he had a 35 year career with the Ontario Teacher’s Federation working in public relations and acculturation of teachers from foreign countries.
He and his wife Bernice retired to Charlottetown 25 years ago. He was actively engaged in community groups including Trinity United Church where he sang in the choir.
Much appreciation is extended to the doctors and nurses who cared for Claude at the hospital.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Thursday, September 17 at 10 a.m. Interment later in Kettleby Cemetery; Kettleby, ON. Family flowers only, however if so desired, memorials to PEI Humane Society, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Scott Taylor

It's with a very heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to our Scott. Predeceased by his parents Joan (Coombs) and George Taylor. Scott lived a full but short life with many amazing accomplishments, one being his daughter Max. He had over 30 successful years at Scotiabank, rising up the ranks to Vice President, Global Risk Management - Latin America. Although golfing, squash, sailing, skiing and working on house and cottage projects were passions, his true passions were his wife, Meri, daughter, Max and Prince Edward Island. Along with Meri and Max, Scott will be sorrowfully missed by his sisters, Linda (Barry) and Kim (Kevin), brothers Shawn (Sherry) and Chris, his PEI buddies and Toronto friends. We'll take it one day at a time. Love you buds!

The death occurred in Charlottetown, Saturday, August 22, 2015 of Dorothy “Pauline” Dalziel of Cornwall, formerly of Borden-Carleton, age 85 years. Born in Charlottetown and raised in Central Royalty (Sherwood) by her late parents William and Jemima (Godkin) Ward. Wife of Robert “Bob” Dalziel and mother of Susan, Anne (Rick) Singer and Stephen (Esta). Grandmother of Bethany (Cory) MacDonald, Maura (Victor) VanHul, Jillian Dalziel and Andrew Dalziel. Great-grandmother of three girls – Lexie and Brayah MacDonald and Rueni VanHul. She is survived by her sisters Georgie (the late Art) Rodd and Gladys (the late Herbert) Phillips. Predeceased by nieces Judy Phillips and Mary (Rodd) Silvaggio.
