Loving father of Tiffany (Steven) Bulpitt; Holly (Chris MacDonald); Lacy (Kent Blanchard); and Dylan. Dear grandfather of Evelyn. Son of Carrie Kemp and the late Bryce Kemp, son-in-law of Pearl Gillis and brother of Roy, Laverne, Isabell, Kevin Melrose Kemp Billy, Debbie, Jackie, Betty, Kenny, Helen and David. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Friday, then to Hillcrest United Church for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Caledonia Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the Parkinson's Society or to the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

Margaret Lorraine Rayner
1944-2008
At Community Hospital, O’Leary on Monday, September 29, 2008 of Margaret “Lorraine” Rayner of Cascumpec aged 64 wife of the late Winston Rayner. Born on February 28, 1944 the beloved daughter of Horace Gamble, Cascumpec and the late Dorothy (Leard) Gamble. Cherished mother of Glen and Jason both of Cascumpec. Loving grandmother of Levi Alexander. Dear sister of Mary (Wendell) Oulton, Brae. Daughter in law of Dorothy(late John) Rayner, Cascumpec. Aunt of Paul and Brian Oulton. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Thursday at the O'Leary Baptist Church at 10:30am. Interment to follow in the Cascumpec United Cemetery. Memorials to the Cemetery Fund or O'Leary Community Health Foundation would be appreciated.

At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, of Isabelle Steele (nee MacLean) of Newport, age 82 years. Wife of the late Michael Steele. Loving mother of Michael (Betty Ann), Georgetown; Roderick, AB; Earl, Newport; Mary Elizabeth, AB; Clarence (Wendy), AB; Winston, Johnston's River; Everett (Barb), Sturgeon. Dear Grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sister of Agnes, Bernadine, Gertrude, Edith and James. Predeceased by her brothers Terrence, George, Steven, Dan, Joe and Benny and by her sisters Mary, Winnifred, Rita and Margaret. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Saturday morning at 10:00, then to St. George's Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation: Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the St. George's Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. Linda Marie Murchison

Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, Linda Marie Murchison (nee Richards) age 64 years, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Survived by her husband Charles Murchison, of Montague, formerly of Glen William. Daughter of the late Betty (Gillis) and Seldon Richards, Little Sands. Loving mother of Rhonda Paterson (Colin), Langley, BC; John, Mission, BC; Fred (Candace), Mission, BC; MaryLou (Glenn) Robertson, Lorne Valley; Donna (Randy) Hume, Murray River; Andrea (Mark) Gotell, Georgetown; Darla (Ryan Murphy), Montague. Loving grandmother to Riley, Taunya, Levi, Charlie, MacKenzie, Miley, Gulienne, Kailley, Logan, Grace, Rebaccah, Kelsie, Abbie, Terissa, Connor, Madelyn, Maggie and Chloe. Lifetime friend of Lorraine Taylor, Trenton, NS. Dear sister of Harold (Della) Richards, Les (Vivian) Richards, Pauline Palmer (Frank Mallard), Irma Richards, and Robin (Barry) Hancock. Predeceased by her son Allen Murchison and her brother Roger Richards. Peacefully at Stewart Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 4, 2008 of Harold Edmund Phillips, Veteran of Second World War, of Foxley River aged 86, beloved husband of Vivian (nee Hardy) Phillips. Born in Ellerslie on April 30, 1922 the son of the late Alvin and Gladys (MacNevin) Phillips. Dear father of Thelma Phillips (Steven Mayoff), Foxley River. Brother of Sterling Phillips, London, ON; Brother in law of Daisy Phillips, O’Leary.Special uncle of Stephen (Linda) Hardy, Borden-Carleton; William (Darla) Hardy, Summerside; Barbara (Doug) Ness, Niagra Falls, ON and also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Robert (Eunice), Wendell (Helen), Bertram, brother in law Edgar (Audrey) Hardy, nephew Stanley Hardy. Forwarded from the Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel, O’Leary to the Freeland Presbyterian Church for visiting hours Monday 2-4 pm. Funeral on Tuesday at the Freeland Presbyterian Church at 10am. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Comrades of Ellerslie Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service for their late comrade at the Church on Monday at 4pm. Brethren of Alexandra Lodge, Port Hill will hold a Masonic service for their late brother at the Church on Monday at 4:30pm. Loving son of Lucy (nee Acorn) and the late Merrill Butler. Dear brother of Marie (Gordon) Gallant, Pownal; Merilyn Crossman (Wayne Hayter), Montague; Amelia (Garry) Campbell; Otis (Linda); and Bonnie, all of Peters Road. Survived by his mother-in-law Kay Blaxland and by his father-in-law Howard (Madeline) Blaxland. Veteran of The Second World War.
Husband of the late Marjorie (Nee MacDonald).
Survived by his sister-in-law Florie Stewart, brother-in-law Preston (Jean) MacDonald and sister-in-law Sybil (George) Compton.
Also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Interment in the Belfast Cemetery.
Visitation: Thursday, 7-9 p.m. only. If so desired, memorials to St. John's Presbyterian Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
The Royal Canadian Legion Eldon Branch # 7 will hold a Service of Remembrance for their Comrade at the funeral home on Thursday at 6: 45 p.m.
