Born in Springfield West on September 5, 1924 the daughter of the late Ivan and Athens (Collicutt) Waite. Cherished mother of Richard (Jane) Mississauga; Nancy (Tom) Hoch, Kitchener, ON. Loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lila Mackenzie, O’Leary; Clayton (Clara) Waite, Victoria, BC. Sister in Law of Donald MacIsaac, Dunblane. Predeceased by a sons Nathan, Ross brother Gordon and sister Norma. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Saturday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Sunday in the Chapel at 1:30pm. Interment to follow in the Bethel United Church Cemetery. Born in Conway on March 14, 1923 the daughter of the late Nelson and Lula (Huestis) Palmer. Dear sister of Hazel Grigg, Summerside. Sister in law of Delcie MacNevin, Halifax, NS; Ruby Smith, Summerside; Marjorie Smith, Freeland; Pearl Smith, Charlottetown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. predeceased by a son Elzie Clair, brother Sterling and sister Jean Rayner. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Monday at St.Peter’s Anglican Church, Foxley River at 11am. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Wife of the late Fred MacLeod. Loving Mother of Rankin (Joy) MacLeod, Murray River; Marvin (Alba), Murray River, Betty (Rollie) MacDonald, Murray River; Esther (Lewis) Penny, Beach Point; Gary (Gloria), Springvale; Florence (Barry) MacTavish, Belfast; and Dorothy (Everett) MacNeill, Beach Point. Dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Reuben Moore.
Predeceased by her infant daughter, and by brothers William, John, Clarence, and Chester.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Murray River Cemetery. Visitation: Saturday, 6-9 p.m. only. If so desired, memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

Loving grandmother of special granddaughter Nina Costain-Croken (Sean) who was raised as a daughter along with several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
