Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from a private funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Lower Montague Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.

Loving father of Dennis (Yvonne); Grant (Debbie); Nancy (Doug) Lamont; Carla (Gary) MacDonald; and George (Connie). Dear grandfather of 16 grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Stanley and Jackie (Adele).
Predeceased by his parents Jack & Ellen (nee Birt) and by his sister Georgie.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Tuesday, then to St. Andrew's Presbyterian, Cardigan for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the St. Andrew's Church Cemetery, Cardigan.
Visitation: Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the St. Andrew's Church, Cardigan or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. would be appreciated.

At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Saturday, October 18, 2008, of Mary Stewart McGowan (nee Nicholson) of Kilmuir, in her 98th year.
Wife of the late Angus McGowan.
Survived by her sisters-in-law Irene McGowan, Montague and Greta McGowan, Dalkeith, ON. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her brother Angus Nicholson.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Valleyfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Dear grandfather of 37 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Elizabeth MacDonald and Rita Irvin, brother-in-law Raymond Campbell, by sisters-in-law Evelyn VanIderstine and Carrie Hopkins, and by daughters-in-law Terri Crane and Doris Matheson.
Predeceased by his sons Arthur, Trevor, and Robert and by his grandson Andy. Also predeceased by his brothers Alfred, John, Herbert and Bruce and by his sisters Emily James, Mary Cunningham, Rosie MacLean and Lottie Coates.
