At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Friday, June 5, 2009, of Catherine Myra Stewart (Nee Gillis) of Montague, age 97 years. Wife of the late Byron Stewart.
Daughter of the late John "Alfred" and Etta Jane (McKeigan) Gillis.
Loving Grandmother of Byron and David, both of B.C. and great grandmother of Jack.
Also survived by her brother-in-law, Russell Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Donald Alfred, sister Jean MacLean and brothers Leonard and Harry.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in the Community Park Cemetery.
Visitation: Sunday 2-4 p.m. only.

Grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son, Bruce.
She was the last surviving member of her family, predeceased by eight brothers and four sisters.
