Peacefully, on Monday, October 6, 2014. Beloved companion of Linda Toy and ex-husband of Ellen Shalinsky (Barnett). Devoted father and father-in-law of Sander and Camilla (Weiser), Mark and Ioulia (Kovelman). Cherished Grandpa of Sydney, Hayden, Ben, and Raphael. Gerald was a retired educator, who will be sadly missed by his many friends, family and all of those whose lives he touched, especially his students.
