Cherished grandfather of Amira (Peter Sherman), David Richler (Genevieve), Yehuda Poll, Naomi (Yoel Steinberg), and Rivka Poll. Proud great-grandfather of Shlomo Steinberg. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Sarah and the late Louis Weiser, the late Anne Richler, Erika and the late Michael Richler, Bernard and the late Miriam Richler, Israel and Reva Richler, Freda and the late Kalman Black, Lily and the late Harold Friendly, David and Goldie Richler, the late Moe and the late Sarah Richler, the late Celia and the late Shimshon Hershcovich, the late Harry and the late Goldie Richler, the late Joe and the late Sarah Richler, the late Ettie and the late Harry Cooperman; and brother-in-law of Dena and Howard Smith, and Muriel and the late Jack Seltzer. Musia (Mary) Herzig

HERZIG, Musia (Mary) (nee Eichenbaum). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Musia (Mary) Herzig on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Born to Lea and Mayer Eichenbaum in Poland. Wife of the late Chaim Herzig. Dedicated to her children, Phyllis Sturman (the late Shlomo) and Michael Herzig, and to Anne-Carol. Grandmother to Noam Sturman, and Alyssa and Elliot Herzig, all of whom she adored. Predeceased by her sister, Rose Lempert. Most of Musia’s family perished in Poland during the Holocaust. A Holocaust survivor, she was a most caring and selfless woman, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Denise for all her help over the years. Graveside service on Sunday, August 23 at 1 p.m., at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, 5552 Earle Rd., C.S.L., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Proud great-grandmother of Ally, and Jayson. Dear stepmother of Janice and Ted Carolin, Elliott and Nancy Pap, Donna and Larry Clemen. Cherished step-grandmother of David and Simone, Jeff and Leah; Stephanie and Matt, Graham; Debbie and Olivier. Proud step-great-grandmother of Rebecca, Melissa, Eloise, and Samara. Predeceased by her dearest siblings and their spouses, Nathan and Fay, Sarah and Saul, Claire and Ernie. Sister-in-law of Joe and the late Ruth Abramovitch, Edith and the late Saul Millstein, and predeceased by her other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Max and Anne Milstein, Fanny Millstein, Goldie and Sam Lerner, Beulah and Sonny Blau, and Rose Pap. Sister-in-law of Eleonora Berku (the late Jack), Rahel Cohn and the late Edith Liveanu (the late Dorel). Special aunt of Monica Heilper (Andrei), Dida Berku (Jacob Kincler), Pini Cohen (Hilla), Dudu Cohen, Mircea Liveanu (Rodica), Naomi Kincler (Sagar Pilania), Ariel Kincler (Naomi Berkovic), together with many more grandnieces and grandnephews.
