Devoted son of the late Eisig and the late Yetta Rudich. Dear brother of the late Claire Samuels of London, England. Brother-in-law of Gordon Samuels, Hazel and the late David Wasserman, Stephanie Kaneb and the late Gerald Benjamin Wasserman. Dearly loved and caring uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle. He will be sorely missed. Dear brother of the late Annette Milstock; and brother-in-law of Norman (Rena), Larry (Carol) Katz, and Sarah Katz. Cherished “grandma” of Robyn Sacks and Andrew Slutzky, Michael Sacks and Debbi Safir, Ryan Sacks, Daniel Sacks and Sabrina Topor; Brad Sacks and Andrea Davidson, David Sacks and Steph Dalfen, Lindsay Sacks; Joey Halpern and fiancée Juliana Christman, Jonathan Halpern, Justin Halpern. Proud great-grandmother of Ashley and Jake Slutzky; Britney Sacks; Jonah and Chloe Sacks; Mason Sacks. Sister of the late Peter Miller; and sister-in-law of Joni Wynne. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. LIEBERMAN, Dina - On Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the age of 70. Daughter of the late Irving (Flash) and Sally Lieberman of Montreal. Beloved and cherished by husband Lorne Vineberg, daughters Bekkie and Flora (Cassandra), sister and sister-in-law of Betty and Ray Daoust, sister-in-law of Ron and Carla,Bruce and Reisa, and aunt Sylvia Finesilver. Predeceased by brother Jerry. Survived by her amazing friends who shared hiking in Cedarvale Ravine, the Beltline and High Park, the COC, movies, art galleries, hockey and cafes until nearly the end. Our family extends much appreciation to Drs. Ted Ross, Maureen Trudeau, Lee Manchul, Joan Murphy, Peter Ferguson, Harvey Wang, Ken Peckham, nurse Lisa Verity and the many hospital workers who cared for Dina with skill and kindness over her courageous 28 year stand-off with cancer. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. Interment Apter Section of Roselawn Cemetery. As the High Holidays pre-empt Shiva, the family will receive community between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 431 Salem Avenue North, Toronto. Cherished father and father-in-law of Victor Beitner and Leena Nahabedian, Terry Beitner and Randy Leibovitch; and step-father of Barbara and Philip Berlach, Rhona and Ross Switzman. Adored Zaidy of Alanna and Adam, Marci, and Rebecca; and step-grandfather of Samara and Ryan, David and Lizzie, Harley and Erin, Sean and Cynthia, Cory and Leora. Proud great-grandfather of Henry, Eloise, and James. Predeceased by his siblings Laibel, Eliezer, Mordechai, Miriam and Gertrude and Regina’s siblings including Esther, Aria, Simon. Brother-in-law of Anne and the late Saul Reinblatt, the late Sandor and the late Dinah Ungar, Sheila and the late Ben Wolfe. He will be dearly missed by Cindy Beitner, Sam Bienenstock (the late Phylis), Shirley and Mickey Schuman, Zev and Tova, Yona and Yaffa, the late Moishe Sarig and their families. He will be lovingly remembered by his family in Montreal, Israel, the United States and Germany, and by his dear friends. ARONOFF, Pearl (née Rosemarin). October 15, 1924 – September 4, 2015. Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, September 4, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Jack Aronoff. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Hinda and Mark Levine, Lowell and Mary Ellen (Wood), Janet Aronoff and Philip Sherman, Karen Aronoff and Benoit St-Jacques. Cherished grandmother of Yonina and Adam, Oren and Jessica, Jared, Aidan, André, and Alex. New great-grandmother of Yael and Ayla. Youngest daughter of the late Bebe (Saginur) and the late Jacob Rosemarin. Sister of the late Rosalie Glassbourg and the late Samson Rosemarin. Pearl was a pillar of strength and wisdom for her family and friends, and continually demonstrated concern for her loved ones. She was passionate about music, dance, literature, and currents events, and, as a life-long learner, she was informed, inquisitive and opinionated. Pearl remained fiercely independent throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.
