Passed away peacefully at the Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, QC, on Thursday March 31st, at the age of 75, beloved husband of Gloria. He leaves to mourn his children, Keith, Lisa (Neil) and Gloria Joyce, very proud grandfather of Sophie Rose, his sister Margaret (Paul). Predeceased by his parents, George and Olga Robinson and his brother Howard. He also leaves to mourn his nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation took place at the Désourdy Crematorium in Farnham. The true measure of a man is the love, laughter and memories he leaves behind. We would like to thank all the staff of the B.M.P. Hospital. A very heartfelt thank you to the Intensive Care staff. Your care and compassion for Dad & for our family was very appreciated and will always be remembered. Suddenly, at her residence in Cowansville, QC, on Friday March 4th, at the age of 94, passed away Margaret “Maggie” Curley, beloved wife of the late H.F. William “Bill” Smith. She leaves to mourn her children, Larry (Martine Hamon), Lynda (Dave Cavanagh), Barbara (Gilles Labrecque), Christine (Nic Plein) and late Billy (Eveleyn). Also left to mourn are many grandchildren and great - grandchildren, other relatives and her dear friends from the Royal Canadian Legion in Cowansville and the United Irish Society.

She was a much beloved part of a remarkable family including her brothers Daniel and Dickon Thorndike still in England and her sisters late Jill Warzycki and Georgia Peacock still in Mansonville, nieces and nephews and cousins, many other relatives and dear friends. It is with great sadness that we announce that after a lengthy struggle with cancer and its complications that Ruth (MacDonald) Coates “flew away home” on January 31, 2016, at the age of 86, at Knowlton House Nursing Home in Knowlton, Quebec. She is predeceased by her mother Arlene (White) MacDonald, her father Henry Forrest MacDonald, her grandson Timothy Coates - Judge and her husband of 62 years and two days, Russell Henry Coates.
