At the B.M.P. Hospital in Cowansville, passed away on Saturday December 7th, 2013 at 4:31 a.m., leaving behind many loving memories for her children, Fritjof, Rolf, Sylvia and Ursula, and her grandchildren, Julia, Mathieu, marie and Dakota. From the town of Tettnag in Swabia, she was a long - time resident of Westmount, Lac des Chat, Bromont and Knowlton, a Rosemaling painter, a cross - country pioneer, and the little ols lady on the corner with the beautiful garden. Ruth was a woman of faith whose wit, will and wisdom will be greatly missed.

Betty passed away peacefully after a short illness, at the Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, QC. She was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty years, Frank Bray. She will be missed by her five children, Mary Ellen (Michael), Danny (Deb), Jennifer (Peter), Colleen, and Stephanie (Pat), her thirteen grandchildren: David, Dana, James, Nick, Adam, Ryan, Graham, Jacob, Stephanie, Jeremie, Jamie, Katherine, and Sawyer, and her four great - grandchildren: Vanessa, Owen, Blake, and Jayce.
Betty had a passion for antiques collectibles that kept her busy and energized until her illness in October. Betty is now enjoying the big flea market in heaven. As per Betty’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Gretchen Katzmann

Gretchen Katzmann died peacefully on December 2nd, 2013 after a four and half year, struggle with cancer. She died at Palliative Care at Magog Hospital in Magog, QC. Survived by her mother, Barbara Koch (the late Burdette Katzmann), her siblings, Mark, Kurt and Carol Ann Katzmann.
She will be sorely missed by the members Koch and Katzmann family.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place at Desourdy Crematorium in Farnham. Special thanks to all the staff from Paliative Care Unit from Magog Hospital for the care , compassion and support given to Gretchen and the family.
A memorial service was held in private. Donations in her memory can be made to the Magog Hospital or CHUS - Fleurimont Hospital would be appreciated (forms available at the funeral home).

Russell passed away at the BMP in Cowansville on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, in his 89th year. A life - long resident of South Bolton, he leaves to mourn his wife of 62 years, Ruth Coates and his children: Candy, Anne (Myles), Cheryl and Steven (MaryAnne), as well as seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many more relatives and friends.

The funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 2:00. Interment will take place at the Knowlton Protestant Cemetery.

David Grenville, aged 85. Died peacefully, with wife Patsy Jequier at his side. Loving father and grandfather to Sally, Geoff and Andrew and their children. Devoted husband to Nancy (d. 1994) and Patsy, and brother to Rosalind Weston; and much loved by Patsy’s children and grandchildren. A longtime resident of Sutton and Knowlton, David passed away peacefully at Knowlton House on November 14. After a lengthy battle with diabetes, on November 8th 2013, at the age of 38, passed away Robert Davis son of Chesley Brock (Marie - Chantal Denis) and Donald Davis.
