Peacefully at the Residence Dunham in Dunham, on Saturday January 17th, 2015, at the age of 93, passed away Marie Alida « Ida » Jacob, beloved wife of the late Joseph Falcon.

She leaves to mourn hers daughters, Linda (Robert Lacroix), Alice (Claude Fournier) and late Robert, her grandchidren, Steven (Sarah), Kevin (Jessica), Shawn, Annie (Steve), Melanie (Stéphane), Emilie (Miguel) and Mathieu (Viviane), her great - grandchidren, Mischa, Lily, Olivia, Rylan, Lorie, Emma - Rose, Kylie - Ann and Elianne, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

John Godue
07/07/1958 - 07/01/2015

John was born July 7th 1958. He lived his entire life in the beautiful town of Sutton, Que. John left us after a 4 year courageous and hard fought battle with melanoma cancer early on Jan 7th 2015 at the age of 56 and while he may have died from the disease, it did not take away his strength and love of life. He gave it everything he had until the very end. John passed away at home in the arms of his wife, brother and niece. He was a proud Bell Canada/Expertech employee for more than 37 years. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of more than 35 years, Valerie Horne and their most precious son James. John also leaves behind in sadness his family; Betty (Peter Stierli), Linda (Winston Bresee), Pat (Stan Neil), Georges (Michelle Descormiers), Lorie (Michel Vilandre), Stanley Horne (July), Priscilla Hadlock (Conrad), June Call (Murray), Pierrette, Sadie, many, many nephews, nieces, friends and not to be forgotten his treasured pets Athena, Maximus, Patches and Samantha. He was predeceased by his parents Gerard Godue and Mary Righton. John was always a kind soul and special in the lives of so many people. Life will never be the same without him. A huge thank - you to Nicole and the home care team for making his last days with us as comfortable as possible and to Dr. Allen Phillips for his support and compassion. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Foundation BMP Cowansville specifically allocated for palliative home care services.

There will be a memorial service for John in the Spring of 2015 (date to be confirmed) so that all of his motorcycle friends can join us on their bikes, give him one more chance to hear the engines and take his last ride. We love you and miss you John, Bon Voyage!

Mark was the Priest - in - charge of the parish of Mansonville and the Bolton’s. He was previously the Director of Champlain Regional College at Lennoxville, Quebec. Suddenly a C.H.U.S .Hospital Fleurimont in Sherbrooke QC, on December 26th 2014, at the age of 77 years old, Mrs. Jessye Bailey Blanchard beloved wife of late Mr. Jean - Guy Blanchard passed away. She leaves to mourn her children: David and Diane (David Woodard) and grandchild Evelyn and many other family members, friends and acquaintances. The family invites you to a celebration of her life Saturday January 3rd 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 120 Pine St., Magog QC, Rev. Richardson officiating. Interment of her ashes will be done in private at a later date. Following the service all are welcome for light refreshments. With her husband by her side, at Knowlton House in Knowlton, on December 9th 2014, at the age of 87, June, beloved wife of Lionel Albert for fifty - two years. Mother of Vanessa Lowry (Joseph), Joshua (Barbara) and Anita Beaty (Taran), grandmother of Jonathan and Michael Lowry and Aidan and Piper Beaty. Sister of Julie Stanford.

June proudly bore the designation State Registered Nurse granted at Barnet General Hospital in her native England. She practised in England, Australia, British Columbia and Quebec, interrupting her career during her children’s growing years.

Family and friends will be welcome at a funeral service Monday December 15th 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 24 St. Paul Road, Knowlton PQ at which Rev. Tim Wiebe, Rector, will officiate, followed by interment at the Knowlton Protestant Cemetery.
