Mrs. Mary Veryl Crandall (nee Jackson) passed away peacefully with family close by September 8th. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Ian Roderick Crandall. Mother of nine children and partners: Veryl (Alain), Ian (Louise), Bill (Gail), Martha (Chris), Jane, Cyndie (Ted), Joan (Charlie), Jay (Josette), Karen (Mike). Loving grandmother to Shawn, Kevin, Suzie, Michelle, Mark, Darcie, Rozalynd, Catherine, Ryan, Nigel, Vincent, Adam, Charlotte, Natalie, Jacky, Jennifer, Amanda, Lizzy, James, Evan, Blair and Alyssa. In addition a great many adored great - children, nieces, nephews and other treasured family members too numerous to list.

Peacefully at La Providence Hospital in Magog, QC on Monday August 26th, 2013, at the age of 78, passed away Richard Newell, beloved husband of the late Marion Ella Hastings. Born May 25, 1937 in Sutton, QC, passed away on August 22, 2013 at the age of 76. He was the youngest of four children born to Dr. Daniel Gruer D.V.M. born in Aubrey QC and Dora ( Née Cullen) born in Allins Corner QC. Predeceased also by his brothers Danny and Jim, and his sister Dorothy Moore. Dale leaves behind his wife Rachel Cain and his three children, Susan, and his sons Scott and David from his earlier marriage to Nancy Tucker. Dale spent much of his working life with IBM Canada and after leaving IBM in the 1980’s diverted to self employment centered in the computer world. He was a curler in the winter, a trout fisherman in the summer and a duck and goose hunter in the fall and had remarkable success in all three activities. There is no funeral planned, and a private scattering of his ahes will be held at an appropriate time and place. Arrangement entrusted to the

Sons of Alice Couture and late Edgar Larocque.
