Lise Westland died peacefully on July 16, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Cor Westland. Lise lived a remarkable life, moving to Indonesia where her two sons, Gerald and Rem were born, back to Netherlands where her daughter, Joan was born and finally settled with her family in Canada. In addition to raising her family, she taught physical education at Ste. Foy Elementary School, Quebec City and later was involved in many volunteer organizations in Ottawa and Sharbot Lake. She is remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, her gentle nature and quirky sense of humour A memorial service will be held a later date.

Morrison, Barry Stewart at the B.M.P. Hospital in Cowansville on July 9, 2013 at the age of 51 after a courageous battle with melanoma. Predeceased by his parents Elsie Marguerite (Cavanagh) 1992, Allan Savage 2002, and brother John Savage 2001. Survived by brothers Kenny (Debbie Brown) and Robert, sisters Prudie and Penny (Kenny Hutchin). Cherished uncle, great uncle and cousin. Dear friend to many. At Barry’s request there will be no visitation. Service to be held at Grace Anglican church, Sutton on Saturday, July 13th at 11am followed by burial in Grace Church cemetery. Myrtle Ellen Irene Stowe Selby passed away peacefully in Knowlton House on June 20, 2013. Myrtle was born on August 2, 1915 to Leon and Eva Stowe. She was one of ten children who are all deceased. She had many friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. She played many a game of golf, curling and crosscountry sking up until she was ninety. She had a passion for playing cards, cooking, sewing and knitting. She was a member of The United Church of Canada, The United Church Women’s Group, American Legion and BMP Hospital Auxillary. Myrtle is survived by her three children, Corinne (William) Simonds, Celand (Suzanne) Selby and Thomas (Debbie) Selby. She leaves to mourn nine grandchidren, Kurt (Anne) Hall, Kelly Hall, Shana (Douglas) Brown, Kirstin Simonds, Shellie Simonds, Jodie Selby, Mark (Taraneh) Selby, Julie Drapeau - Crevier and François Crevier. Myrtle also leaves ten great - grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Rowland Selby and a daughter Margaret (Bunny) Moore. We would like to express our thank you for all the care given at Knowlton House and Knowlbanks.
