Peacefully at the Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, QC, on Wednesday March 18th, 2015, at the age of 92, passed away Mrs. Victoria Wlodarska. She leaves to mourn her daughter Christine (late Ivan McLaughlin), her grandchildren, Jennifer and Shannon, her sister late Helen Proksa, her nephew Richard, her nieces Janet and Barbara, her special close friends, Madeleine Désourdy, Gerald Doonan, Cathy Bousada and Bernadette Pagé, also many others relatives and friends. Family and friends will be welcomed at Ste - Rose - de - Lima Church in Cowansville QC, on Saturday April 11th, 2015 from 10am to 11am, followed by the funeral service. Interment at the parish cemetery. The family wish to thank all the staff of the medicine floor from the BMP Hospital for their professional and hard work. After a courageous battle, at the BMP Hospital in Cowansville QC, on April 4, 2015 at the age of 58, passed away Pauline Demers, loving wife of Grant Burnett and devoted mother of her only son Kyle. She leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters: Michel, Lionel (Mary), late Maurice, Claudette (Jacques) and Monique (Roger); her mother - in - law Dorothy; her 2 sisters - in - law: Janice (Lester), Barbara (Christopher), her nieces and nephews: Marco, Jeffery, Pamela, Kelly, Olivia, Christa and their children. Gérard Cabana

After a courageous battle, at the Centre d’Accueil de Cowansville, on March 26 2015 at the age of 92, passed away suddenly Gérard Cabana, husband of the late Gloria Aiken.

He leaves to mourn his only daughter Linda (Yvon), his grandchildren: Crystal (Neville), Trevor, Starr (Jason), April, his great grandchildren: Alexander, Emma (stillborn), Elizabeth, Kearsten and Isabella. Predeceased by his other siblings, he also leaves to mourn his sister Pauline as well as many other relatives.

The family would like to thank the staff of the BMP hospital, Knowlton House and the Centre d’Accueil de Cowansville for the excellent care given to Pepère.

According to his wishes, there will be a private graveside service at a later date.

Passed away peacefully at the Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, QC, on Thursday March 26th, 2015. Born on Novemver 29th, 1932 in Bolton Center and passed on March 26th, 2015 at the age of 82. He leaves to mourn his children, grandchildren and great - grandchildren, one sister, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. As per his wishes, cremation took place at the Désourdy Crematorium in Farnham. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Minnie died peacefully in her sleep early March 20, 2015, at the Brome Missisquoi Hospital. Predeceased by her adoring husband Allister Kerr. She leaves behind her children Bob, Rod (Suzan),Valerie (Bill), Don (Gloria), Pamela (Bruce), Lynn (Robert), Laura (John); her grandchildren, Don (Erin), Elliot (Laura), Kimberley, Joe, Rosie, Brady, Kate, Jasmin, Sophi, Nicholas, Christopher, and Marianne; three great - grandchildren : Liam, Sierra, Jasper. A celebration of Minnie’s life will be held at Emmanuel United Church in Cownansville, 203 Rue Principale on Friday March 27th, 2015 at 4:00pm preceded by a visitation in the sanctuary at 3:00pm. There will be a reception following the service in the church hall.

Helena Mozejko
1923 - 05/03/2015

Passed away at her daughter’s home on Thursday, March 5, 2015, in Mississauga, Ontario, where she lived the last three years of her life. She had numerous health issues, but seldom complained. Her last wish came true, as she died at home. She missed her beloved husband, Ludwik Mozejko, who passed away on Sept. 2001 and her home in Knowlton, Quebec. She lost her eldest son (Cheslaw) last year on Aug. 2014 in Montreal, and the loss of her son took a toll on her. She is survived by her daughter (Donna) and her son (Roman) and her grandchildren: Adrian, Sandra and Victoria and grand - grand - kids, Olivia, Apollo, Bryan and Ronan, as well as extended family and friends globally. She had at times, hard life but mostly full and happy. She married the love of her life and was happily married for 56 years; lived in three different countries and she loved to entertain. She lived for her family and taught the children the meaning of work, respect, compassion, kindness and love. She will be immensely missed and loved forever.
