He is survived by his wife Lucienne Binet Levasseur, Gerald Melanson (Sandy), Jean-Claude Melanson, Linda Melanson, Danielle Melanson. Loving grandfather of Jean-Charles, Marie-Eve, Sean, Maggie-May, Gary, Jeffrey, Kim and great-grandfather of Cassandra, Brendan and Olivia. Visitation at Complexe Funeraire des Trembles, 15005 Sherbrooke East (entrance of Parc de la Nature, Pointe aux Prairies) on Friday, June 9, 2000 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to follow in our chapel. Burial in Hawthorn-Dale Cemetery.

Dear mother of Alana (Dave Chapman), Sharon (Tom Venner) and Stephen (Irene Bitschofsky). Very proud "Momma" of Kristopher, Tommy, Chelsey, Matthew and Lauren. Survived by loving sister Marion (Jim Slater), Florida. Brothers Jackie (Lorraine MacMaster) and Ewen, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by parents John Alex and Agnes, loving sister Frances (Brian Walsh) and brother Alden. Jennette will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family, nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends across Canada and the United States. A special thanks for the diligent care of the V.O.N., CLSC, the nurses at St. Mary's - 5th floor main and the nurses from We Care Agency. Visitation at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 222 Highway 20 (Cartier exit 49) Pointe Claire, Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from St. Edmund of Canterbury Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield, Friday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses would be appreciated.

Cherished Papa of Christine and Mark, Paul and Kathy-Anne, Michael, Tahnya, Jesena and Natalia and great-grandfather of Matthew, Daniel, Jamie and Andrew. Dear brother of Kathleen Andoney, Lina Andoney, Freddy Andoney, all of St-Andrew's East, Quebec, Alice Cockle of Pointe Claire, Quebec and Aurel Andoney of Ste-Anne-des-Lacs, Quebec. Nephew of Ludger St-Pierre of Montreal. Predeceased by his son Danny. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight North of QEW) Burlington, (905-632-3333) on Thursday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Prayers will be held on Friday, July 7, 2000 at 3:30 p.m. Private interment. Long time volunteer of the Heart and Stroke Association and Meals on Wheels. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 6, 2000 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux. The funeral service, officiated by nephew Fr. Neil McKenna, will be held at St. David Parish, 12450 Gascon, Pierrefonds on Friday, July 7, 2000 at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. Much loved he will forever be remembered by his wife of fifty-six years Rita Witzell, children Ross, Christine, Kathleen, Douglas, Ian, Dale, Albert, Joyce, their spouses and companions, his grandchildren David, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jean-Francois, Sandra, Jody, Alyssa Capogreco, Andrew Clark, Adam Manning, his great-grandchildren Ariane and Shawn Capogreco as well as other relatives and friends. On July 8th and 9th the family will receive friends and relatives at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home located at 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Thomas A Becket Church, 4320 St. Anne, Pierrefonds, on Monday, July 10 at 11 a.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the V.O.N., the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to express profound gratitude to the staff especially the nurses of 3 North for their dedicated care and compassion.
