GREENFELD, Edna (nee Botner). On Thursday, November 16, 2000. Beloved wife of the late Hyman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Earl Pantel, and Carol Amro. Cherished grandmother of Mitchell and Gloria, and Stephanie Pantel; Romy, Corry and Liana Amro. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Henry and Norma Botner, Bernice and Morton Brownstein, Loua and Helen Greenfeld, Shirley and Leo Goldfarb, Roslyn and Harvey Wolfe and the late Nathan Greenfeld. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 14th Floor at the Montreal General Hospital for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, November 17 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Blvd. Shiva private. Donations may be made in her memory to the Neurology Department c/o The Montreal General Hospital Foundation, 934-8230.

HOGAN, Maurice J. Passed away peacefully at 10:25 p.m. at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal on November 15, 2000. Survived by beloved wife Margaret. Devoted father of John and Barbara Ann. Grandfather of Megan, Justin, Kaitlin and Rebecca. Also survived by brothers Tom (Mtl.), Leo, Ron and Ralph of N.F.L.D. including numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Genevieve (Halifax) and Mary (Mtl.) and brother Alex (N.F.L.D.) Served with the merchant marines during WWII. Retired from the Bank of Nova Scotia after thirty years service. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 - Flanders. Resting from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on November 18 and 19 at Dallaire Wilson Funeral Home, 123 Maple, Chateauguay. Mass to be held at 10 a.m. on November 20 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Chateauguay. Followed by burial at Christ Roi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would appreciated.

Beloved husband of Patricia Mahoney. Dear father of Maureen (Marc Goodwin), Frances (Vince Zvonkin), Patrick (Michele Reynolds), Mary (Tim Eichholz) and Brian J. Kelly (Catherine). Loving grandfather of Paul, Jonathan, Sarah, Katie, Rachel, Anna, Rosemary, Scott, Samantha, Christine and Elizabeth. Dear brother of Rev. Sister Helen Kelly, C.S.J., Sheila (Frank Gillingham) and Clare Kelly. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a granddaughter Carly Patricia Zvonkin, by sisters Norah Kelly, Alice Ennis, Aileen Larkin, Maureen Kelly and by brothers Dr. Maurice Kelly and Tom Kelly. Funeral was held Wednesday, November 15 at St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield, Nepean. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the V.O.N. appreciated.

KENNEDY, Patrick Joseph. Passed away peacefully May 27, 2000 at the age of eighty-six at home in Argyle, Minnesota with his beloved wife Delores and his most loved daughter Doris at his side. He was predeceased by his first wife Marie Stella, February 1989, his parents, his sisters Winnifred, Alice, Esther, Margaret, Frances and Catherine, his brothers Frederick and John. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Delores Dufault of Argyle, Minnesota in the summer and St. Petersburg, Florida in the winter, his most loved daughter Doris Lilly (Kennedy), devoted son-in-law Peter Lilly of Clearwater, Florida, his grandchildren Patricia, Christine (Greg) and Tara, his great-grandchildren Patrick and Lilly Martin, five step-children and many step-grandchildren and many step great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his step-grandson Paul. A memorial service will take place at St. Thomas Becket Church in Pierrefonds on Friday, November 24, 2000 at 1 p.m. 4320 Ste. Anne Street, Pierrefonds, Quebec. Take the St. Charles exit off of the 40, go north to Pierrefonds Blvd. before Gouin, go east on Pierrefonds Blvd., to Ste. Anne Street, go south on Ste. Anne's: the church is on the right-hand side. Burial to follow the service at the Montreal Park Crematorium, 3065 Cote de Liesse, St. Laurent, Quebec.

Beloved daughter of Betty and Bill, dear sister and sister-in-law to Barry and Francine (Golding) and to Janice and Jan (Huus) and dearly loved aunt to Evan and Kelsey. Susan's passionate spirit, determination and sunny smile were cherished by all and will be sadly missed but forever remembered. Susan touched us all in a unique way and we thank her for the gift of her life. Susan will always have a special place in the hearts of her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a Service in Memory of Susan with inurnment of ashes on Saturday, November 25, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Richard's (Anglican Church), 8 Withrow Ave. (at Merivale Road), Nepean to celebrate Susan's life. The family hopes to share memories at a gathering in the church hall after the service. The family would like to thank Susan's caregivers for their kindness, compassion and support.
