SINNOTT, Laura. Peacefully in Perth, Ontario in her ninety-first year. Daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Sinnott. Sister of Marion Loucks of Montreal. Predeceased by sisters, Mary McGarry, Margaret Sinnott and Anna Sinnott. Loved aunt of Bob (Betty McGarry) of Ajax, Tom (Theresa) of Kingston, David (Mary) of Bancroft, Fran (Linda) of Port Elgin, Claire (Ab) Buckton of Peterborough, Marion (Ken) Gill of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Barbara (Don) Sauve of Montreal. Predeceased by nieces Joan Darou and Margaret Dale Labelle. Funeral will take place at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smith Falls, Ontario, Monday, October 2, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

VOUZAN, Samuel. 1920-2000. From Antigua, on September 28, 2000 passed away Mr. Samuel Vouzon aged eighty years. Loving husband of Mrs. Viola McCollins. Dear father to Alderson, Austin, Jocelyn, Pauline, Lucina, Caroline, Bridget, Everette and their spouses, proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He also leaves his brother and sister as well as many relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 8145 chemin Chambly in St. Hubert. The funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the complex, thence to Jardins Urgel Bourgie South Shore. WEINBAUM, Chiel (Charlie). A Holocaust survivor who passed away with dignity after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 29, 2000. Beloved husband of Bunny Percher and the late Fay Birnbaum. Devoted father and step-father of Thomas and Dianne Weinbaum, Barry Edward Weinbaum, Esther and Harry Steinberg, Myron and Marisa Goodman. Loving Zaida of Alan Steinberg; Brooks, Matthew and Zoe Goodman. Predeceased by his parents Rifka and Chaskel Weinbaum, his brother Itche, sisters Goldie, Tema, Esther and Ruzia, and numerous relatives who perished in the Holocaust. Special thanks to Dr. Marcy Gillman for her special care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, October 2 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, Chaverim Kol Israel Section, de la Savane. METAYER, Ted. On November 16, 2000 age fifty-nine after a courageous and dignified battle against cancer. He died at home surrounded by family and loved ones. Dearly missed by Pat (nee Lees) his wife and children Angie (Sean McTague), Tony (Patti), Jen (Scott Auchinleck) and grandchildren David, Daniel, Amanda and Baby. Will also be missed by his twin brother Peter (Leonne), his sister Michelle (Garth Wilby), nieces and nephews Joanne, Caroline, Ted, Chris and Jana and close relatives Lise Germain, Stephane Lemieux (Sophie and children). He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues. Survived by his sister Lyla (Russell Paquet) and brothers Melvin (Lyla Banning) and Ian (Helen Banning), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, the late Lowell (Yvette Rousseau), Inez (the late Herman Dacres), Nigel (Collette Gagnon), the late Doris (Kenneth Taylor), Douglas (Colette Lacroix), June (Nelson Smith), Donald (Claudette Nicole), Shirley (Ronald McIsaac) as well as many nieces and nephews. MORRIS, Beatrice. Passed away in her home on November 11, 2000. She was much loved by all her family, including her children, Marvin Morris, Ronald (David) Ingraham and Darlene Henson. Born Beatrice Azilda Brouillet on October 31, 1920 in Marieville, Quebec. Her family moved to the Montreal area where she met and married Norman Harold Morris. She survived Norman Harold Morris and two of her children, Steven Morris and Graeme Morris. In June of 1997, she moved to Abbotsford, British Columbia where she regained her independence. Services will be held in Abbotsford, British Columbia at Henderson's Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2000 at 10 a.m. Her final resting place will be at 8145 Chemin Chambly in St. Hubert, Quebec with a small service Monday, November 20, 2000 at 10:30 a.m.
