BAILEY, Joseph. Suddenly at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital on February 6, 2003 aged seventy-three years. (Retired VIA Rail). Beloved husband of the late Millicent Greenaway. He will be sadly missed by his loving mother Mary Owen, his dear children Tisha (Michel), Joe Jr., Carol (Andre) and Sherry, brothers and sisters Marjorie, Naomi (Ed), Paul (Molly), Alice, Peter (Deborah) and cherished grandchildren Kelan, Acima, Kwalen, Isaiah, Kalena, Jason and Christina. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Resting at Feron's Funeral Homes, 2630 Notre-Dame Street West. Funeral service will be held at the Union United Church (3007 Delisle Street) on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 1 p.m. followed by interment. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

BRODERICK, George Norman, Q.C. Born in Montreal on June 5, 1910, "Uncle George" passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9 with loving members of his family at his side. UG is warmly remembered by his brother Jack, his brother-in-law George Dundass, many nieces and nephews and their families, and everyone lucky enough to know him. Uncle George will be missed. His extended family was large, and his circle of friends wide. Predeceased by his parents James Broderick and Bertha Favreau, brother Frank and sisters Evelyn (Sullivan) and Doris (Dundass). A special thanks to staff at Osgoode Care Centre. A memorial service and reception will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Osgoode Care Centre, 7650 Snake Island Road, Metclafe, Ontario, to be followed in the spring by a funeral mass in Montreal. BEAUVAIS, Mary (nee Clauesson). Peacefully on Sunday April 20, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Ronald A. Beauvais, cherished mother of Marilyn (Alan Lawee) and Ann. Loving grandmother to Ronnie, Angela (Bill), Carolyn (Mike), Sean, Alison Lia and Jared. She will be missed by her brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and eight great-grandchildren. The Funeral will take place at Collins Clarke Chapel, 5610 Sherbrooke St. W on Tuesday April 22 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Sutton, Quebec. The family would like to thank Diane Peart, the Alzheimer's Group, CLSC Rene Cassin, V.E.R and 6 NW staff at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and support. BENNETT, Carrol Patricia. After a feisty battle with bone-marrow lymphoma, Carrol died peacefully at her home in St. Patrick's Square on Good Friday morning, April 18th, 2003, in her 90th year. Carrol was predeceased by her parents John Bennett and Catherine Hogan, by her brothers Edmund and Raymond and by her sister Olga Neville. She is survived by her cousin Eileen McCaffrey and by her sisters-in-law Grace Bennett and Cecile Bennett, and their children and grandchildren. The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care Carrol received from her friends at St. Patrick's Square, especially Kitty and Jim Bullock and Mabel Fitzgerald. Many thanks also to her caregivers from Groupe Sante Brunet, the CLSC Rene Cassin and the Oncology and Palliative care units of St. Mary's Hospital.
