HAIRE, Denise (nee Doucet). 1931-2004. Passed peacefully and courageously on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the age of seventy-three after a battle with cancer. Mourned and loved by her sons Graham and Wayne, her daughters-in-law Erika and Ann and her grandson Zachary. She will be sadly missed by her brother Gerard (Andree) and her sister Carmen Gariepy, her nieces, nephews and all of her friends. A very special thank you to the staff and volunteers at La Maison Victor-Gadbois for the comfort, joy and support they gave her and our family on this final journey. Visitation at the Demers Funeral Home, 231 Laurier Blvd., Beloeil, Quebec on Sunday, August 8 from 2 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 p.m. A donation, in her memory, to La Maison Victor-Gadbois (1-866-467-1710) was her final wish.

HANNON, Bea (nee Codas). Peacefully in Toronto, surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 6, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Hyman. Loving and devoted mother of Evelyn Hannon, Steve Hannon, and the late Joan Hannon. Bubbie Bea of Terry and Erica Ehm-Moshenberg, Leslie Ehm and Russ Frame. Great-Bubbie of Joshua, Jessie Delilah, and Lotus Quinn. Dearest sister of Min Codas, the late Al Codas, and the late Jackie Codas. Special thanks to Dr. Ron Olivenstein and Lucy Bugay for their extraordinary care and love. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, August 9, at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5700 Cavendish #608, C.S.L.. Husband of Raymonde, proud father of George Jr. (Isabelle) and Michael (Denise), loving grandfather of Ryan, Vincent, Kayla, David and Kevin. Dearly beloved son of George and Irene Horwood, brother of Terrence (Huguette), James (Betty) and Sandra (Paul), and brother-in-law of Ronald Pilon. He will be greatly missed and remembered by those who loved him. Donations may be made in George's name to the V.O.N., and the CLSC of Lasalle. Survived by her sons, Bill (Emma), Gordon (Marie), Bob (Dani), Lawrence (Janet) and Donald (Judy) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives. Predeceased by her daughters, Ellen Wheatley and Donna Guenette. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Visitation will take place from Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Sunday, August 8, 2004 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The funeral will also be held from Rideau Funeral Home on Monday, August 9, 2004 at 1 p.m. with visitation commencing at 12:30 p.m.

Born in Montreal, QC on December 13, 1916, daughter of the late Carmella Talarico and Salvatore Cerminara. Predeceased by her brothers Eugene and Mario, her daughter Maryann Marcoux. Lucy is lovingly remembered by her sons Robert Lambertucci (June), Phil Lambertucci (Emsie), brother Tino (Connie), son-in-law Bob Marcoux (Calgary, AB), daughter-in-law Diane Pullen Lambertucci, sisters-in-law Rita Cerminaro and Josie Cerminara, cousin Josephine Shaffer (Chuck)(Largo, FL), her husband John Traverse (Largo, FL). Dearly beloved by her grandchildren Peter Lambertucci (Deanna)(Toronto, ON), Wayne Marcoux (Joann)(Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC), Barry (Ray Ann)(Victoria, BC), Donna Lambertucci (Jeff)(Cherry Hill, NJ), Perry Marcoux, Lianne Marcoux (Tom), Michelle Marcoux (Mike) all of Calgary and her great-grandchildren Wade, Kierra, Molly, Christopher, Jake, Kevin, Allyna and Quinn. Lucy enjoyed her retirement in Largo, FL, where she made many friends and was famous for her lemon pies, lively bingo games and her involvement with social activities at Island in the Sun and the Parish of St. Justin Martyr Largo. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Moss Feaster Memorial Gardens, Indian Rocks, Largo, FL, tel: (727) 446-2375. As a remembrance of Lucy's life, donations can be made to The McGill University Health Centre Foundation, 514-934-8230.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2002 at 10 a.m. at The Annunciation of our Lady Parish, 1020 Laird Blvd., Town-of-Mount-Royal, Quebec. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada would be appreciated. A private graveside burial will take place in the spring. The family also wishes to thank the management and staff of the Strathmore for the loving care provided by all.
