ARCHER, William John. On June 7, 2004, our beloved Billy, just fifty, passed away in New York City. An inspiration to all, Bill faced cancer with extraordinary courage and the utmost grace. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Van Slyck and his brother, David; and predeceased by his parents, Norah McConkey Archer and David Patrick Archer. A Memorial in Bill's honour will be held at River's Edge Community Church (formerly St. Augustine's), 5567 ch. Cote St.-Antoine, N.D.G., Montreal on Sunday, September 5, 2004 at 4 p.m. Donations may be made to Gilda's Club, 1929 boul. De Maisonneuve O., Montreal H3H 1K3.

ASHTON, Ruth Evelyn. Died peacefully at the Griffith McConnell residence in Montreal on July 28, 2004 in her eighty-eighth year. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Lorne Ashton (Patricia), her niece, Carol Dandridge, and her nephews Gerald Beazley (Lynn), David, Stephen (Arlene), Frank Ashton (Sharon) and Ron Ashton (Gayle). She will also be remembered with great affection by several great-nieces and nephews.

CORNELL, Dorothy Florence Evelyn (nee Morris). In Montreal at the Griffith-McConnell Residence on August 3, 2004 at the age of eighty-two. Ev will be sadly missed by her children and their spouses, Murray (Madeleine Lukosa), Wendy (Ray Mader) and Gail (Jeff Rowles); her grandsons, Jake, Clayt, Chad, Blair, Trevor and Eric; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Evelyn was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, Russell, and her siblings: Bob, Lester, Gerry, Clarry, Ida, Art, Harold, Clayton and Roy. A memorial service will be held on August 28 at 1 p.m. at St. Andrew's-Norwood United Church, 1600 de L'Eglise, St. Laurent, Quebec. ARMSTRONG, Henry Willson Darryle, P. Eng. Seventy-seven, passed away on November 23, 2002 at the Vancouver General Hospital. Born in Red Deer, AB, he was the son of Noble and Florence Armstrong. Darryle was an impassioned Canadian who loved travel and languages. He will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Miller) Armstrong, his children Stuart, Sharon and Melanie; his grandchildren Erin, Jason and Sararose and his brother Gerald. He was predeceased by his daughter Allyson and sisters Elnor and Yvonne. No service by request.
