KABULIS, Aina. Passed away August 30, 2003 in Montreal. Aina will be dearly missed by her nieces Raffaella, Alma and Ingrid, also her nephew Ronald. Visitation will be held at Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, 514-279-6540 on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Mount Royal Chapel on Friday, September 5 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow.

KLINEBERG, Irene (nee Held). On Friday, August 29, 2003, at the age of ninety-one. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Judy and the late Dr. Mendy Mendelsohn, David and Barbara. Cherished grandmother of Howard Mendelsohn and Jane Patzer, Susan Mendelsohn and Stuart Baserman, Allen Mendelsohn, Leslee and Joanne Klineberg. Predeceased by her brothers Dr. Al (Wilma), Sam (Billie), and Harry (Helen); by her brother-in-law Dr. Otto (Selma); and by her sisters-in-law Sophie Bennett (Archie), Dolly Ginsberg (Jess), Queenie Meyerovitch (Phil), Flo Pascal (Sonny), Nettye Greenberg (Henry), and Beattye Shapera (Irving). The family wishes to thank the staff on the 6th floor at Le Waldorf II for their exceptional care. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, August 31. Shiva private. Burial at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Mount Royal Blvd. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

LASCHINGER, Alan Gordon. (48 year employee of Domtar). Born in Toronto, Ontario on April 11, 1915 and died on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at the age of eighty-eight, in Kingston, Ontario. Loving husband of the late Elsa Helen Claire Young of Lachine and Montreal, Quebec and the late Gweneth Woodburn Swift of Oshawa. Former resident at White Cliffe Terrace Retirement Residence, Courtice, former resident of Oshawa and longtime resident of Montreal, Quebec.; 57 year summer resident at Lake MacDonald, Quebec. Survived by sons John (Carol), Alan (Elizabeth), Fraser and daughter Susan. Will also be missed by sister Margaret Garrett (Cecil), sister-in-law Merlie and Ada (Broadbridge), grandsons Brett and James (Leslie), granddaughter Jan and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews together with members of Gwen's and Ada's families. Predeceased by brothers James (Elizabeth) and Charles (Merlie) and sister Eleanor Raper (Frank). Cremation has already taken place.
