COFFEY, Margaret (nee Doyle). It is with deep sorrow that Alicia announces the passing of her cherished mother Margaret in her ninety-sixth year on November 19, 2003. Beloved wife and 'sunshine' of the late Paul E. Coffey. Predeceased by her much loved and only son Dermit (Ann). She leaves to mourn her devoted daughter Alicia (Vicente), grandchildren Julian Paul, Shawn (Inga), Lisa and Glenn (Christine), her two great-grandsons Nicholas and Dylan, her sister-in-law Betty Doyle, nieces and nephews. The family thanks the many good staff at St. Margaret's Residence. Alicia wishes to thank her husband Vicente for the many years of devotion to her mother. May you rest in peace mother. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Saturday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Monica's Church on Monday, November 24 at 11 a.m. Interment at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. DUCAS, Joanna Louise. On November 11, 2003 at the age of fifty-two after a lengthy illness bourne with great courage and dignity. Beloved daughter of Madelaine Ducas (Dupre) and the late Harry John Ducas. Devoted sister to Pierre. She will be dearly missed by many relatives and friends in Canada and the U.S., especially tante Lorraine Dupre, Mrs. Loula D'Jimas of Scotia, N.Y., cousins Eliana and Thanasi of Fla., Commander Charles Rocheleau of W. Va, Dr. Andre Dupre of Montmagny, QC, Dr. John Ducas and Dr. Diana Ducas of Winnipeg and Dr. Dean Ducas of Cornwall, On. Born and brought up in T.M.R., she leaves to mourn many friends in the furniture design industry. A Memorial Service and celebration of Joanna's life will be held at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Saturday, December 6 at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Joanna's memory. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Maria, Nancy and Allan Mintz. Cherished grandmother of Marcus and Dara. Dear sister of Harry and Herbert. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate care of the staff of the Montreal General Hospital. FRENCH, Hazel (nee MacFarlane). Passed away, peacefully in Valleyfield Hospital on November 21, 2003 Mrs. Hazel French nee MacFarlane aged eighty-seven years. Predeceased by her husband Clifford French. She leaves to mourn her children Ronald (Ethel), Gerald (Rita) and Carolyn (James), seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Harriet French and many relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at the Kelly G.S. Funeral Home, 19 Lake Street, in Huntingdon on Sunday, November 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., also Monday, November 24 at 1 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the Chapel of the funeral parlour on Monday, November 24, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Athelstan Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Quebec Diabetes Association or the Athelstan Presbyterian Church.

Dear sister of Beatrice Windross, and the late Walter Lamb. Loving aunt of Stasia, Linda, Terry, Patricia, Walter, and Ronald, and their families. Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North (Hwy 48), Markham, on Thursday at 11 a.m., followed by a complete service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in Fernhill Cemetery, St. John, New Brunswick at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be preferred.

He will be sadly missed by his sister Carol Cluff and his brother-in-law Stephen of Goodwood, Ontario. He was a loving and devoted Uncle to Alanna and Lauren. Predeceased by his mother Jean Marlene Johnson (Beck) of Toronto and his father Robert Urquhart Beck of Montreal. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and work colleagues in Toronto and Montreal. The family wishes to thank in particular Dr. Rahal, Dr. Crelinstein and the staff of the Cardiac Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Laurette Bigras, he leaves to mourn his children Diane (Roger Ouimet), Jean-Francois (Liliane Hauschild) as well as his cherished only granddaughter Caroline (Jean-Francois Chartrand).
